You are expected to complete 15 hours of work when you are not in school. This work will be reported on your learning log, which you will sign monthly.

All students have a variety of ages and backgrounds... respect everyone's individuality

Language should be appropriate for school setting

Leave outside experiences at the door, or if this is impossible, communicate with teachers/staff

they are checked bi-weekly at the mentor teacher meetings

Students use the planner and fill in the IGP in the front of the planner with the teacher - this allows students to track their own progress

Student should be working on schoolwork at least 80% of time at school

You may also complete more work if you would like to catch up, graduate early, or return to a more traditional school, if desired. Check in with subject-specific teachers to plan your work and determine progress.

Your login information will be provided to you by your homeroom teacher. Please store this in a confidential place.

***You will take STAR tests for reading and math, shortly after enrolling, which will help us understand how we can best support you.

If you already have these plans, Flex should receive copies of the completed plans.

If you do not have a plan and believe that one is necessary, there is a referral process that will be followed.

We have Google Meets options available for working with teachers when students are not physically present in school. The meeting times are provided on a schedule.
