The audio is recommended to be listened to with the eyes closed, imagining and paying attention to the busy sounds of the surroundings, such as the momentary chatters, the opal card 'clink' sound, and the trains approaching the platform.

The sound overall adds an immersive experience for the audience without being physically at the station.

Recorded on my phone. 5/08/25.

The child/youth opal card served me and my friends for our journey to the City from Mascot Station, and is a key resemblance to the use of public transport as our primary transportation.

This bubble tea cup represents the core memory of Mascot Station. We all went to Mascot Station after school from years 7-10 to hang out and enjoy a carefree afternoon. The station was our primary hangout spot as everyone lived very close to it. The surrounding cafes, the architecture and the overall memorable urban design of the area attached us to the place.

This is not the brand we used to drink our tea from (Mon Cha Cha), as that brand shut down. However, this is a cup from Share Tea from UNSW.
