This affected the readers by making them think that the woman was struggling economically, which is also pointed out in the first and last sentences. &nbsp;<br>The author also used words such as "love" and "hope" as the only escape for the woman. This brought the readers to see how miserable she really was.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
