One of them is their multiple colorations. This allows the organism to camouflage itself when it needs to hide from it's prey and/or predators. Another adaptation that the octopus has is that they have three hearts and nine brains. This serves the octopus to be extremely intelligent. Also, an adaptation that the octopus has is having 8 tentacles that allow them to perform multiple tasks at one time.
