         <description><![CDATA[<div>The school motto 'Living is Striving' helped create the theme for the current Whenuapai School logo. Our school house groups are also based on the tiles in the logo. This logo came into use in 2003.<br>​<br>The Book is the knowledge tile, which represents learning, teaching and information.<br>The Heron represents flight and 'striving'.<br>The Mangrove represents 'living'. It symbolizes our children's environment and growth.<br>The Hands are the sociability tile. They represent friendship, social development and coming together.<br><br></div>]]></description>
