         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to Berg (2016) the fashion industry is one of the world's most important industry which has a significant driving part in the global economy. In 2016, the industry reached around $2.4 trillion in total value. If it were ranked the global fashion industry would be the 7th largest economy on the world.<br><br>However, looking back at 2016 was one of the toughest year that the fashion industry ever experienced. BoF-McKinsey Global Fashion Survey, 2016 summarised this decline in the industry in three words: uncertain, changing, and challenging. Why it was the hardest year for the industry? United Kingdom voted in for Brexit, terrorist attacks happened in France and the Chinese stock market caused several shocks to the global economy. </div>]]></description>
