         <description><![CDATA[<p><p>-Women developed into political and social activists to reform what they could to society.</p><p>-They formed many groups that were strictly for women to work together on what they need to accomplish. In these groups, they wanted to prove to men that they can do anything without a man's help.</p><p>-Women fought for the right to vote for about seventy-two years and on August 16,1920 the nineteenth amendment was ratified and women could vote in all elections.</p><p>-Little after women were able to vote they soon started working together to win political offices.</p></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>-During World War I women wanted to serve their country and give it its every need</p><p>-Women took any jobs they could get, but earned very low wages. </p><p>-Change came throughout the 1920's, and about fifteen percent of normal wage-earning women became professionals. </p><p>-The number of women working rose fifty percent in the 1920's.</p><p>-Even though they had jobs, women still weren't getting paid near equally the same as men.</p><p>-As workers they were more influenced in their society to work harder and make a change. </p>]]></description>
