Our school and its story

In September 1990 the idea of an experiment or educational alternative was born: the creation of classes taught inEnglish. In 1992 it was named after William Shakespeare and became he first highschool with intensive English teaching. Between 1992 and 2000 various subjects (History, Geography, Biology and Music) were taught by teachers from England and the USA. Today Liceul Teoretic William Shakespeare has 4 levels: preschool, primary, secondary and highschool, with intensive and bilingual English. Tere are more than 1000 students and 75 teachers who carry on the dream with entusiasm and a desire for self-improvement.
