      <description>A former member of the American College of Radiology, Dr. Richard Berg is a San Luis Obispo, California-based medical professional with more than 30 years of radiology experience. Most recently, Dr. Richard Berg worked at Community Medical Imaging, where he provided outpatient and inpatient radiology services at facilities including Advanced Medical Imaging and Fresno Community Hospital, respectively.

Dr. Richard Berg worked at the Medical Imaging Center of San Luis Obispo for 15 years. He performed amniocentesis, biopsies, CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, and X-rays at the outpatient medical imaging office. He also garnered expertise in interpreting these and other radiology exams. Moreover, he served as a consultant to California Men&#39;s Colony, Atascadero State Hospital, and Cal Poly University.

Dr. Berg completed a fellowship in body imaging and residency in diagnostic radiology at UC Irvine Medical Center and West LA VA Medical Center, respectively. He obtained his MD from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and holds a bachelor&#39;s degree in biology from San Diego State University. His interests include hiking, tennis, volleyball, and meditation.

         <title>The Role of Genetics in Precision Medicine</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetics"><strong>Genetics</strong></a> is the study of genes, heredity, and gene variations in organisms. Genes refer to the basic functional unit of heredity. They are responsible for the inheritance of traits from parents to offspring. Since genes make up the body’s blueprint and functions, genetics has become of major importance in the effectiveness of medical diagnosis. Precision medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that considers individual variability in environment, lifestyle, and, most especially, genes to accurately diagnose each person. The future of accurate medical diagnosis will be informed by the role of genetics in precision medicine.</div>]]></description>
