Most recently, Dr. Richard Berg worked at Community Medical Imaging, where he provided outpatient and inpatient radiology services at facilities including Advanced Medical Imaging and Fresno Community Hospital, respectively. Dr. Richard Berg worked at the Medical Imaging Center of San Luis Obispo for 15 years. He performed amniocentesis, biopsies, CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, and X-rays at the outpatient medical imaging office. He also garnered expertise in interpreting these and other radiology exams. Since genes make up the body’s blueprint and functions, genetics has become of major importance in the effectiveness of medical diagnosis. Precision medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that considers individual variability in environment, lifestyle, and, most especially, genes to accurately diagnose each person.
