Grasslands do have a wet and dry season, but still not enough precipitation to support a forest.

There are many reasons that penguins are endangered. Many things affects them like climate change , over fishing and chronic oil pollution hurts these small, adorable animals. Climate will mainly affect the quality and availability of food and nesting space. Also, people are catching too much krill and krill is a major part of penguins small diet. Chronic petroleum spills has already killed thousands of penguins, and most of these oil spills are illegal operational dumping from ships anyway. Those are some of the limiting factors that affect penguins causing them be to become endangered.

Charcoal making has also destroyed gorillas habitats putting them on the endangered list. Finally poachers have killed many gorillas because the gorillas get caught in other animal traps.

whale sharks filter feed if there arent enough plankton in the water, the whale sharks might not survive. Also, they give birth to very few babies, but even though scientists are unsure about their feeding grounds, they think that they breed in coral reefs, and since they are so big, there might not be enough space for all of them to breed. Although, the main reason they are endangered is due to hunting and fishing.

Green turtles are classified as endangered and are limited by many resources in their environment. Too many turtles in one place could be catastrophic for the species. The turtles are threatened by over harvesting eggs, being hunted, and losing their nesting sites. Global warming has impacted the turtle species too. Since the temperature of the water impacts the gender of the egg, the water temperature rising will cause more females being born and less males. this will in the end result in less mates and even less turtles.

Another one is shelter and deforestation because without shelter they cannot sleep and are in danger of bigger animals. Deforestation is causing many of their shelters to be destroyed so the jaguars cannot survive.

Tiger skin is a very valuable item. So poachers kill and them illegally for an extra few thousand. Another factor is that they went extinct in 1935, but they were able to recreate them using dna in the dead bodies and genes in other tigers that weren't fully golden. SInce then, only 30 of the golden tigers have been made and still live. They also have been losing their habitat due to humans tearing down trees and building on flat land. If they can't hide anywhere, they can't stalk their pray and can't hide from poachers.
