The UDHR was a document made to prevent 🤬 from happening again. before the UDHR, any country's leader could commit mass killings and get away with it which is very hard to imagine possible. Now with the UDHR in place, it prevents the possibility of this happening on such a large scale like it did with the Holocaust. I think the value of this document is that a group of many countries came together and worked very hard to make this document.

Sergio

The UDHR created a common set of laws and rules between all of the nations that were apart of the UN to make sure nothing like the Holocaust would happen again. And also made it to where the leaders of individual nations did not have the right to do what they wanted with no chance of that action causing an outbreak of nations. Instead it made sure that if a nation was to do such things like the Holocaust, the UN would get involved to stop them.Yes I do feel that there is value in a document like this because it shows that a group of nations is willing to get together to assist if there was an event like the Holocaust again.

Rob Smart
