What was the greatest challenge?

The greatest challenge was creating self doubt in my ability to offer skills to my team. However, after beginning our project I discovered all the tech skills I have gained throughout the course, such a visual design, and was able to contribute those skills. We learned from one another and gained more knowledge.

What would you do differently going through a process like this with a team?

I wouldn't go about it differently. As a team, we were able to reflect, share ideas and thoughts, build on each other, and grow. We built upon each other's ideas, met up, and modified as we went, crafting together an impactful educational instructional design project.

What would you (and can you) share with your colleagues about going through an instructional design process to create computer-based instruction? How might they use this process?

In the instructional design process to create computer-based instruction, it is essential to not doubt yourself and to SHARE your ideas and thought with team mates or other colleagues. The instructional design process of CBI is very structured and is filled with various tasks and analysis. It is is easy to miss something, but also remember it is a process in which you will reflect and change things along the way. Take it step by step and don't forget to test it throughout.

How could you use this process (or modified) with your students? Provide an example of what you could do (or have done).

I could use this process with my students when assessing their level of learning in a core subject. For example, I could also have students create an educational app that they would want to use and help them better understand. I would have them get into groups and mock the process on a specific subject. I would be able to assess their understanding of the subject matter and critical thinking skills and ability.
