The author wrote this book because you should help the homeless people out a little for. maybe a donation. It doesn't have to be big.put your self in there shoes. how would you feel if you if you were homeless and got a donation.

The author want me to know that you should never give up and Eve Bunting wanted use to realize that there are those type of people that don't have homes like you have, so people could help the homeless more often. The author wants me to know that you can never give up hope, never stop doing. "Do or do not, there is not try" Eve Bunting wrote this book to tell the audience to give money to the homeless or help them in different ways, because they don't have enough money to eat like we do, or act like we do.

I think Eve Bunting also wants us to realize that not everybody has the privileges that we do and that we should start to take notice of these people that are not as privileged as us so that we can help them.

The author wants me to that we should be grate full for what we have. The little boy and the father in the book are very grate full for what they have even though they have to live in an airport. Also I think most of us live in a house or apartment and we are still not grate full for what we have.
