Summary:
The article I read was about a current crisis going on in South Sudan and all the horrible immoral actions happening on a daily basis. Basically, the country has been in a state of crisis over the last several years in what has resulted in many lives lost and non-stop violence. What is unfortunate is that innocent individuals are being slaughtered and there seems like there is not much support is doing to prevent this. By reading the article you can tell that the government has failed and there are too many conflicting parties to even be able to control it. It is becoming clear that the U.S is starting to consider if the cause is even worth supporting. People are starting to point the finger at the UN for lack of action because they are only doing so much. Is it immoral for the U.N and U.S to turn a shoulder and start to pull back? It seems like the civilians are crying for help and their lives are depending on it. I believe at times you must make a moral decision and understand that it might be dangerous and risky but what is right is right.
