I don't think I know anyone, but I think the Nacerimas might be described in a biased way. Maybe there can be many Nacerimas I know... Just from this information, I might be scared of them when I meet them.

I also don't think it is ok to harm your body for looks since their is a possible risk of many different diseases or these harmful thing having permanent affects on your body. If I interacted with them it would be a very interesting experience since it would be very weird coming face to face with them and talking to them. Hurting yourself just to make yourself look good is a little shocking. I don't think I know anyone who is from this tribe. They're a little cult-ish and their rituals are very interesting.

If I had no prior knowledge, I would say that I don't know anyone from this tribe. I would interact with them by trying to learn more about why they are in the tribe and gain additional information about what they do.

But it is actually just us! Americans are the Nacerima people but all these rituals when we think about it, it makes more sense because we do these rituals too throughout our lives.
