Its halls are home to countless stories of success and triumph. However, La Salle, to me, is far greater than the prestige that comes along with studying in the university. In here, I see its competency to provide an environment that is conducive to high-quality education. Yet what I admire the most is its genuine care about the progress of its students. I want to invest my time in a positive setting where I will be given every opportunity to succeed, both professionally and personally.

It is an experience that served as a bridge for me to unleash my deepest potential as a youth, citizen, Girl Scout, and future Physician. Through the program, I was able to conduct feeding programs, nutrition seminars, and monthly health checks in my chosen community. Bearing that responsibility inspired me to participate in several youth-led action and social civic activities that allowed me to empathize with people from all walks of life and made me globally competent by enabling me to adapt to the changing demands of society. Receiving the medal instilled in me a resolute desire to practice medicine. It was an obligation that required my utmost effort, dedication, strength, perseverance, and time. I will not, however, consider myself a good leader as even I have my share of setbacks, failures, and regrets. Still, I am always open for improvements. 

It is also this that equipped me with the ability to manage my time efficiently and work under pressure. This, combined with my skills in expressing myself effectively in both oral and written communication, will be my greatest weapons in the path towards success. Most importantly, I believe that putting God in the center of everything is what allowed me to progress this far. Doing so gives me a strong sense of belongingness and peace and is something that I would continue to do going forward in my journey as a student of this institution and also your friend!
