Jason was the third most common name in the U.S. for males in the year I was born. Michael was first and Robert second. This means Jason was more common than John/Johnathan that year! I remember in one class being one of seven Jason’s. With my father in the army, I realized going by my last name helped identify whom should respond. Jason, while still common, is not as common as it once was, and thus I will answer to both.
