1 thing that can be improved

If i have the chance to improve the chair, I would change the tiny light brown strips of the chair to stimulated straw. This is because, I think that this will make the chair feel more comfortable to sit on as some of the protruding tiny light brown strips may make the person felt uncomfortable if they sit for a very long time. Furthermore, using real straw will bring the chair one step closer to representing the actual bird nest.

From the designer (Nina Bruun):

"The chair has a bottom, seat and four stabilizing legs. To make a "nest feeling" I played with birch strips with different thicknesses and hurled them around the structure. And to present attention from being diverted from the nest of birch strips, I choose a cushion in a dusty chocolate brown which plays beautifully with the pale birch. It was natural for me that there is a soft center in the chair to make references to the bird's nest that are typically lined with down." (Derringer, 2017)

Reference:
Nest Chair by Nina Bruun - Design Milk. Design Milk.
