Kim: Student engagement is so important for successful learners. When a child is engaged, he/she has some ownership in their learning. In my classroom of 5 year olds you can only imagine how I must be on my toes at all times to keep my students engaged. I do this through brain breaks, music, dance and rhymes. I try to keep my students attention and curiosity at all times so they will always be motivated to learn.
http://www.w5coaching.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/teaching_quotes_benjamin_franklin.jpg

Nichole: Engagement teaches passion and passion leads to change... I believe it is crucial for students to be engaged in the classroom in order to learn new knowledge.
