I found this place using Facebook and I get this job with just send my resume to the manager and within one week I get the allowance to run my siep.  At first day, I meet Mrs. Tasniim binti Samsudim who is a manager at idea kitchen to discuss more about my siep and the important  thing is what to wear during work, I need to wear formal and use apron. This restaurant have provide variety of food like western, hot plate and the very popular dish is Assam pedas, among the Assam pedas dishes is Assam pedas Ikan Patin , Assam pedas Ikan salmon and many more. This restaurant was operating from 12 am to 10 pm, for the first day , mrs. Tasniim ask me to come at 12 am to discuss about siep. Mrs.tasniim teach me how to manage work and how to work at restaurant. After that I met other workers and Mrs.Tasniim introduce me to them. I have to get acquainted with the chef at the restaurant. His name is Ayah Cha. He was really nice to me and other workers, other than that I also meet other workers like Mira Ila and Iwan. At 1 pm I need to study more about the menu because that was my first task and I need to be waiters for the first day and this task I get from my manager. I need to learn more about the menu and Mrs.Tasniim teach me how to take order and how to great customers. I went back home at 10.30 pm after closing the restaurant. Thats all from me for today.

This restaurant provide many kinds of drinks, such as hot and cold drinks. People like to come here because this restaurant have many kind of fruits drink and coffee. It’s like their attention factor. I like to work at this restaurant because the workers here always show their kindness towards me as they’re being nice to me and they also teach and help me whenever i need some help. Not to mention the manager’s kindness too. She helped me by explaining my task so It will be complete perfectly. I felt very happy to work here because There’s a lot of good things that I can learn and also can improve my skills. Everyday I learn some new things from this job and learn to how properly  serve the drinks and food correctly. Today Is a bit busier because at weekends, there’s always many customers that come here to eat. Since this restaurant is well-known , new customers were interested to come and taste the signature dish. I come to the restaurant at 11.15 to clean the restaurant, I need to mop and tidy up the restaurant before its opening, today I did my job exactly like yesterday, I take order from customers. I met a lot of customer and I learned very carefully with my other friend who works as waitress at the restaurant to take order in the righteous way. In taking orders, we need to listen carefully and write faster so i learn how to write the orders and shorten the abbreviation of the word .After taking the order I told the chef clearly and loudly the orders by the customer so that the order isn’t easily forgotten . Every worker have given one hour to rest and all of us used the rest time given wisely as we eat, prayed and relaxing our tired muscles before continuing the rest of our day with working. The important thing today is I get task from Mrs.Tasniim. I have to do a homework, which is to identify what is the best ways to attract more customer to come to this restaurant and opinions of what can be added to make the restaurant more interesting in the future. My shift started from 9 am until 6 pm. I was assigned to help the chef prepared the ingredients for him to cook. I was directed to cook the rice and cut the vegetables for every morning. The chef taught me the steps to cook the rice properly. In addition, I also learned the discipline like complete my task on time before the restaurant started their operation as usual. The chef also give me the task to make food for other workers. The special menu for that day is “Ayam berlada”. He explained the steps one by one such as how many chicken the required , and how to make the sambal berlada . After finishing my job at the kitchen, I will also give a hand to the other employees on taking the customer’s order. I learned how to be tolerant and patient since there were many type of human beings. As the phrase said “customer is the first priority” . Due to this restaurant’s strategic location and proximity to other restaurants, there will always numerous of customers that love to come here. This restaurant always remain as the first choice in every regular customers heart. Today i learned how to work quickly because the hospitality field required an efficient worker. I learn how to cook chicken black pepper, I was assigned to make it. The necessary ingredients such as black pepper powder, some chicken, white pepper sauce and little water needed. After that chef will show how to cook handle the kitchen efficiently. I will be in the kitchen from 9 am to 12 pm, after that I will forwarding and switch my shift to take order from customer. I will finish working at 6pm. Cake is a side dish available in this restaurant, the ingredients needed to make this cake should be prepared first. It has become a habit where I have to provide essential ingredients such as Oreo powder, cheese flour and so on to facilitate the baking process. I learn how to make cake from morning because customer will be coming at lunch time. The chef teach me how to make cake carefully because in making a cake it requires a smooth job. Cake making process takes about 3 hours including the cake decorating. After I make that cake , I will do some another jobs such as taking order from customers. Today the customers came as usual. All these ingredients should be pierced at the vein before we cook it. This food should be eaten with ‘’ tomyam “ . Today we will served the menu to customer. After completing all the work in the kitchen, I will continue my work as usual to help others workers whose in front in taking order. Since this menu is still in trial, we have to fully explain to customer about this food. We’re so glad that This menu got the warm  welcome from customer, and some positive feedbacks from them, especially young people who love to try something new. After finishing the table I will clean the playground section. So it’ll be safer for the kids who come and eventually play there also. As parents nowadays are highly concerned about their kids safety and of course , the cleanliness of their children environment. After that I will wipe the spoons and forks and put it in a circular container before putting it on the table. For today, customers come and eat here like they always do. Today at early 10.00 am, we received a reservation by call, a customer sets an event that will be held in the  evening. The customer said that they’ll be celebrating his daughter birthday. He also ordered us to provide what’s needed. In a blink of eyes, We decorated the custom ordered table to celebrate the birthday. The customer also asked us to provide custom cake and other foods for about 7 persons eating before they arrive at the restaurant. The birthday celebration is held at 5 pm and we managed to provide all the equipments needed before they came.After everything goes on, we were doing the same jobs like usual. And we did the cleaning before we closed the restaurant as usual. I have suggested in adding many types of dessert such as many flavours of ice cream, fruits, and smoothies. On the last day of my work I have received an allowance from my manager because I have successfully carried out this job. I have been thanking to all who have helped me finish this work. In a blink of eye, I finished my 10 days working here. It was such an unforgettable experiences. There’s a lot that I’ve learned when I’m working here. There’s also a lot of advices that I received from my employee and all the workers that I’ve been closer with.
