1) I used to think that music was just for fun and entertainment but now I know that it is more in depth and that it is linked to children’s development.

1) We used to think music can be done alone but now we think that music is best done when it is a team effort, with each member adding his/her sound or voice to the mix.

2) We remember that music holds a powerful place in an infant's memory. Babies as young as 8 months old are able to recognise familiar pieces of music. Studies have also shown that providing consistent experiences with a same song helps young infants remember and link that music with a particular memory and experience.

1) We used to think that music is just a tune that helped babies to go to sleep or allow them to sing and dance along but now we think that it actually helps children in their developmental domains such as cognitive and social domains. Such as when u let the children play with the instruments, it allows the children to explore the different ways of playing the instrument.
2) What i remember most is that how music helps in memory. We still remember nursery rhymes that were sang to us from years ago to sleep and it was useful as we were familiar to the song itself. Syarafina & Nadhirah T03
