Clinical governance is a framework that guarantees that each and every health institution continuously offer patient-centered, safe, and efficient care (Secker-Walker & Lugon, 2023). Additionally, it encompasses various aspects including leadership, accountability, risk management, and quality improvement (Brown, 2020). Clinical governance plays the vital role in establishing leadership, accountability and transparency. It creates the means by which healthcare practitioners are held accountable for their deeds and choices. As a result, it builds confidence between patients and the healthcare providers which requires transparency. Moreover, clinical governance through Leadership sets the tone for prioritizing quality and safety in all aspects of care thus creating a culture of patient safety and continuous improvement. Furthermore, clinical governance has direct impact on patient safety and quality improvement. It encourages and establishes a proactive strategy for risk identification and mitigation, error reduction, and the implementation of safeguards against unfavorable outcomes. Also, it pushes healthcare providers to apply adjustments, draw lessons from mishaps, and continuously raise the standard of treatment thus ensuring quality improvement.

On the other hand, clinical management encompasses both the coordination and administration of healthcare services (Garcia et al., 2020). It ensures efficient health care providence through planning, organizing, and overseeing various aspects of patient care. It plays a central role in resource optimization and policy implementation. To ensure effective operation and provision of quality care, efficient allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities is mandatory. Additionally, clinical management bears the task of integrating clinical governance policies into routine procedures thus establishing a connection between the two.

Moreover, Clinical management impacts staff engagement and satisfaction. Through fostering a positive environment and workplace, it enhances the quality of care provided by healthcare providers (Brown, 2020). Also, it impacts patient and health outcomes by contributing to the efficient delivery of care, minimizing delays and optimizing resource utilization.

Nurses, as frontline healthcare providers, have unique and a vital role in influencing and contributing to each of these areas. They contribute to advocacy, constructing feedback mechanisms and through enabling continual outcomes (Garcia et al., 2020). Nurses play a pivotal role in healthcare providence and are actively involved in advocacy for patient wellness. This is due to their involvement in clinical governance and management which have a direct impact on health outcomes (Garcia et al., 2020). Additionally, through the various feedback mechanisms enabled by nurses, gauging their experiences and engagements with patient care, they have a place in shaping clinical governance and management.

Health outcomes, nevertheless, refer to the effects of healthcare interventions on the health status of individuals or populations which include overall improvements in health, clinical results, patient-reported outcomes (Kelson, 2023). The measure of health outcomes is based on the assessment of clinical indicators such as morbidity and mortality rates, disease progression, and the success of medical interventions. Also, it is given through the patient-reported outcomes that contribute to a holistic understanding of health outcomes
