What do I do for the kids that don’t get multiplication and division after all of the strategies have been taught.

Routinely fluent check students’ progress.

Teachers bring back lessons or activities that they plan to use to teach the lesson.  (If standard hasn’t been taught at this point.)

If it has been taught, teachers can bring back videos and student work samples.

*Accountability piece could be that video could be uploaded to a LiveBinder or some shared drive ahead of time.

 (A concern is that we don’t have adequate amounts of manipulatives – working with mixed numbers especially.  What suggestion do you have for this?)

Becoming more knowledgeable of different formulas for area, volume, and counting unit cubes to determine volume.  (measurement)

Measurement with angles. 

Geometry – classifying 2 dimensional figures based upon their attributes.
