The Assembly decided not to leave the tennis court that they had inhabited for this meeting until they made a new constitution, this decision came to be known as the Tennis Court Oath.</div>]]></description>

It was a very bloody time with many people being executed. The period ended when Robespierre was deemed an outlaw and executed with his supporters.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>France was in a state of unrest so when an official that was high ranking in the National Assembly was dismissed by the king the people went into uproar. This led to riots and a group of people going to the Bastille, a prison and fortress. This eventually led to people from both the side of the rioters and people guarding the Bastille falling. After everything was over the King reinstated the official he'd dismissed at the beginning.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Arrest, Trial, and Execution of King Louis XVI (December 11th 1792)</title>

They then found documents that proved his guilt. Louis Capet, as he was now addressed, was taken to the trial where he was found guilty with the verdict being his execution. He was executed by guillotine in front of roughly 20,000 French citizens.</div>]]></description>
