As you know my name is Raihana, can call me with my glamorous name,Dr Rai. I'm a parasitologist. My passion in the parasitology field is the environment parasitology. Honestly, when I walked into the classroom on the first day, I didn’t know what to expect. I had signed up for the course just as a way to fill my credit requirement, and did not think too much about this class at first. My thoughts about this course is I think that it’s going to be hard to score. However, after that first day, I knew that I was going to enjoy the class. Dr Raihana was very nice. This was different than any other class that I had previously taken, last semester, or in high school as we only have 12 students in the class. But anyway, I enjoyed it so far

At first, I thought parasitology is a boring subject. I take this course because I heard that this subject is crucial and will help a lot in my next industrial training. After experiencing few classes, it is more interesting than I had ever imagined. It is nice to know the different kinds of parasites existing in the environment that are infectious to human. Higher knowledge level of parasite will definitely helps me in my future career path. The prevention and control of different parasites lectures also allow me to have enough knowledge of effective measure approaches based on different parasites, enabling me to increase the awareness among the society as an environmental safety officer (maybe, hehe). I like this subject and thank to the lecturers that make the classes interesting as well. <3

In my perspective, this subject is very useful for our next internship as it involves on how the parasites that exists in the environment can infect human with various mode of transmission. Some of them can cause the mild diseases, some can cause very hazardous diseases. Therefore, in this course, it also consists of how a person can prevent it via some of the preventative measures. I really hope that I can also apply it during my career to minimize the biological hazards at the workplace or environment by practicing the high level of cleanliness. :)

In my point of view, parasitology already sounds creepy as what i imagined was a hospital, disease, patient and all the creepy infected symptoms. Hahahahah and also parasitology sounds so hard like very tough subject to score since there will be so many things and specific name of disease, parasites and so on. Even though, I believe that studying such subject will be the added point in my knowledge since there will be no opportuinity for me to learn more about this facinating subject. I will try my best to understand more and put my very interest into the subject. Insha Allah i will give an A to Dr Raihana, Dr Malina and Dr Syikin as the present of your effort to teach us
