RIDE SMART AND STAY SAFE!


BEFORE YOUR RIDE

1. Check your bike to make sure the brakes work and the tires are properly inflated.

2. Always take a helmet and protective gear.

3. Study the map to know what to expect.

4. Check the weather forecast.

5. Pack the essentials such as water, snacks, a basic first aid kit, and a bike repair kit.


ON THE TRAIL

6. Stick to marked trails and respect the signs.

7. Ride within your limits and at a safe speed.

8. Be alert of hikers, animals, and sudden changes in the trail.


IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

9. If you crash or get a flat, stay calm and assess the situation.

10. If you get hurt, try to get help.

11. Move off the trail to avoid causing more accidents.

12. If the trail becomes too rough or you feel unsure, it’s okay to walk your bike.

13. Keep a positive mindset – Stay focused, stay calm, and remind yourself that you’ve got this.
