What does the landscape look like?
In an Urban area the environment is mostly covered by large buildings and infrastructures, consisting of usually of non-agriculture jobs very developed. Filled with many "human structures" such as commercial buildings roads bridges and railways. As Rural areas are almost exactly the opposite containing little to no building or infrastructures. A lot of agriculture opportunities, farming including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products. Rural areas are often called the country because residents can see and interact with the country's native wildlife.

Although, the big city has more job opportunities; there are also more people competing for a single job. This can make your job search frustrating. Oddly enough, you will see hundreds, if not thousands of jobs available each week, but you still might remain unemployed, especially when the economy is down. For example, you might be qualified for a job, but 10 other people who are applying for the position are slightly more qualified. Maybe they have more job experience or a master's degree and you just have a bachelor's.The cost-of-living is typically higher in big cities, and it can cost you an arm and a leg for a small apartment in a decent area of the city.

Family Size (Do you think rural communities /countries tend to have smaller or larger family sizes? What about family values? How do they differ in rural & urban communities?)

I think that Rural communities would have larger families because they need more people to help support there large amount of land, since the majority of people that live in a Rural area do lots of agriculture. In Urban communities they would tend to have less children because it more tightly packed, less living area, less fresh air, and higher cost of living to be in a more developed region. For example Las Vegas is very packed all of the time and at places like MGM grand or Luxor (just naming off the top of my head) would cost a few thousand sometimes just to stay overnight, which can add up for families. Especially whenever their living on maybe minimum wage, and it has also been proven that's it's harder to get jobs to begin with in more urban areas because of qualification etc.

In Rural communities usually everyone works off their "share" or "part". Because in the majority of Rural places most people are farmers, do something in agriculture, etc. As in an Urban communities people usually have to go to school, college, etc. If you want a job in an Urban community it can be rather harder than it would be in a Rural community because since the cities are so densely populated. People are always fighting for jobs and people are always more qualified then one another etc.

In 2008, for the first time, the world's population was evenly split between urban and rural areas. There were more than 400 cities over 1 million and 19 over 10 million. More developed nations were about 74 percent urban, while 44 percent of residents of less developed countries lived in urban areas. Proven by the research that www.prb.org/Publications/Lesson-Plans/HumanPopulation/Urbanization.aspx did for me we can come to the definite conclusion that people most definitely want to live in a more Urban community as of 2008.

To end this at 10:32pm I would like to summarize the Rural vs. Urban padlet by saying that majority of people want to live in Urban communities because they'd rather be in a place where they can receive education, be closer to transportation routes and, public services, more attractions, etc. Rather than in Rural areas where people have to do much more hard labor dealing with agriculture, and there's not as much stuff to do.
