1. I am conserned because i am not good at english/writing and this has a lot of that so i feel i this calss will be a struggle with me.
2. I do not feel comfortable reading out loud and or presenting just because i am not confident and I have bad anxiety over that stuff
3. I am a visible learner and feel viewing will help me more than listening.

1. To get more people to learn about older generations. He also talks about in a way he is living in there legacys
2. He wants people to know that those people did care and that they are just as important as people now. He is very confident that older generations are very ipirtant to learn about
3. I would say both to inform and persuad because he is telling us alot about the old generations and native american history. but also is saying he want and thinks that we should want to learn about thos generations

1. yes but in a way that they want to change it they say native Americans are mascot or stereotype but people shouldn't think that way. People should be treated the same no matter the color of their skin they are still people.
2. I think that people are people no matter what they look like. people have feelings and when they are thought of a mascot i don't feel that is fair to judge because if you aren't them you don't know how it feels.

She had to adapt to the religion and to the puritan family (paragraph 3). She has effected many peoples life in a posotive way. That will effect her for being a huge part of peoples life.

some daily things that help people be successful and happy is getting a job, going to college, being healthy, and form good friendships.
Doing sports and activities really make me happy. being active is a big part of my families and I's life. Being healthy and active help you become a better person with confidence and effort on other people.

What does this video show us about the depiction of the devil throughout literature?

The devil did bad things and made bad choices and he said he would rather rule in hell than walk in heaven. he didn't want the good he only wanted the bad.

Why do you think writers from the Romantic period shifted away from the Puritan style of morally good characters and began writing about characters who made bad choices?

because they felt the bad choices were important to talk about because that are the ones people regret. The romantic period shifted because the puritant were about the bad the romantic was about the good

How did Whitman revolutionize american poetry?

He revolutionized it because he wrote about how he felt and how he felt people should be like. He thinks people are passionate ad important in different things.

What does it mean to use an extended metaphor?
A comparison using specific details.

Develop a metaphor to describe something that takes up a lot of your time. Try to describe it using imagery (sense, touch, smell, taste, or sound)
Me playing sports is like a fly flying around the room, it never stops. I am always playing a sport except for the weekends.

The first picture looks more realistic and is more real time it looks like it could be newer. The second photo is more 18 centuries type photo and is older in look. She is smiling and not serious like the first photo. More romantic clothing.
Looks more romantic and in the way that looks older. it is more unsafisticated. rather than the first one is more safisticated.

Families were impacted in many ways. Lots of losses in the family that were hard to get over. The people that lived it was a positive effect because they knew they saved people too. Lots of changes and birth rates were dropping.
