I am Robert Greene, my family and I, lost our jobs and property due to the Treaty of Paris “...[we had]  to lament over the wreck of [our] departed wealth and estates." During the war, we left to go to Canada, due to the fact we were all in danger, we stayed in Canada and never returned back home. Having to leave behind everything we once had was the hardest part.

I am Charles Claghorn, an American soldier, I fought for almost eight years and survived. Fighting in the war was the worst experience I ever encountered. There was people dying and being wounded everyday, and not enough supplies for everyone. But we made due with our smaller military, which lead to victory. “I hope I shall one day find land enough to lay my bones in” to find honor for what we accomplished.
