There is a horrible drought in California. The drought has been going on for 10 to 20 years now. It began in the 1990s. California hasn't had a drought like this in 1,200 years. Water is being limited to the people in California. They can't water their plants in their yards and every household is limited to water usage. Almost every plant is dead and the rivers, streams, and ponds are almost gone. The drought is so bad they are spray painting grass on people's front yards. This is a horrible drought in California.
