         <description><![CDATA[<div>Czar Nicholas II was born May 18, 1868 and was assassinated July 17, 1918. He was known as Saint Nicholas the Passion-Bearer in the Russian Orthodox Church. He was the last emperor or Russia ruling from November 1894 to March 1917. He was significant to the Russia Revolution because he was the last tsar they had during the   revolution until it was over. The poor way he handled Bloody Sunday and Russia's role in World War I led to his abdication and execution.</div>]]></description>

He was significant to the Russian Revolution because he had prophetic powers and had some political influence. He had influence because he became the confidant of the Tsar and Tsarisna of Russia.</div>]]></description>
