1. I've learnt that good curriculum is not enough to ensure good learning. Teachers need to use effective teaching strategies to help students achieve the learning objectives.

Make instructions and support clearer. So instead of lowering the goals, you adjust the support so every student can reach the same objective.
You can change confusing cultural examples, cut out boring parts, or add fun activities (of course with fact checking )

To conclude, the main lesson I learnt is that an effective lesson should be meaningful, engaging and relevant to our students.
