I entered UPOU clueless about what I was going to do. Back then, my initial goal was to briefly explore and get experience in just 1 study project which is the CHED IDIG. After its completion, I intended to apply to other institutions. In that project, what I remembered clearly was that you kept on asking about stat. I did not know back then that one of your specializations is Statistics. When I learned about it, I kept thinking and hoping that I answered your questions correctly 🀣

Then, I was transferred to QA which I was hesitant at first because of my initial plan, and of course, I do not know anything (0%) about it. But you encouraged me and told me to "Just try and see". I was intimidated when you were about to brief me about QA at the OVCAA conference room with the THICK AUN-QA training book. I was nervous because that reminded me of the "Leithold" book in college that I really don't like 🀣

To be honest I struggled a bit as the work is very much different from what I learned during my undergraduate studies, however, your guidance has helped me. I learned a lot and gained sufficient skills and experience. 

I very much appreciate your encouragement and support. Thank you for always asking and listening to my opinions/suggestions and of course for mentoring us in research. 

Happy retirement and wishing you all the best in the next chapter of your life po.

I just want to thank you for all the learnings you have imparted us.  We may not have interacted much po in work, but I always admired your composure and wisdom despite overlapping deadlines while meeting and exceeding the expectations from other universities. Thank you din po for giving me the chance to join the thematic analysis team. Sobrang grateful po ako sa guidance and comments niyo for the paper and presentation. This just proved po na ang lifelong learning ay hindi lang po students ng OU, but also with the staff po :)) 

Now that you are retiring po, I hope you'll have more time to rest knowing how much you have devoted your time, effort, and wisdom for the betterment of the university for years. I am forever grateful po that I experienced being under your supervision po.
