]]> 2021-12-09 18:36:57 UTC https://padlet.com/training220/bapwdlff5jxag3zv/wish/1938917451 https://padlet.com/training220/bapwdlff5jxag3zv/wish/1938926500 Giving some thought to on the ground data collection and cultural competency, as a very intermittent FI since 2014, I recognize that each FI working a set of cases for data collection likely carries their own set of biases through their work as it intersects with individual decisions about cases that will be worked.  When encountering cultural difference in any form, does an FI gravitate toward data collection from respondents that are more similar to themselves?  I am speaking culturally, ethnically, economically, etc.  I hope some form of bias training for intermittent FIs will be a part of NORC's future.   This is data in the deepest details, but I think such efforts will improve data quality within a sample.
