September 2019 came in with a rather innocuous reading of 37.7 µg/m³, making it moderately polluted but not enough to warrant any serious concern (although still detrimental to portions of the population).

However, there is still much room for improvement if it is to see rankings that take it off the 1st place spot of most polluted cities worldwide.
