1) The olympics during the cold war were really different from what they are now. Because first back then it was mainly a competition Between America and russia. Because at that time they were the 2 best countries. But now the whole world Is equal.

2) it was a lot more tense back then due to the killings of other teams as well as the constant worry of the cold war on everyone's shoulders.

3) it was also a stage for political and social protests. like the 1980 boycotts. But now it is a lot more peaceful between everybody.

1) Our nuclear weapons aren't being used anymore during the war, or at least not as much and as big. Because of the impacts they have had on the war, like towns and cities being destroyed, people dying, and radiation and global warming that has been caused by them.

2) The world now doesn't rely on nuclear weapons to stop wars anymore because of all of the negative things that have happened. So we try to be more civilized about our treaties, agreements, and allied trusting.

3) Based on the destruction the old nuclear weapons had on the earth, the world simply could not take new technology-based nuclear weapons. And if we did then lots of people would die.

1) The Space Race created efforts to launch artificial satellites. It influenced competitive countries to send unmanned space probes to the Moon, Venus and Mars. It also made possible human spaceflight in low Earth orbit to the Moon.

2) the space race has let the human space inventors create lots of new things inspired by the space race to help the humans in space. Like water filters, charge-coupled devices, lifeshears, scratch-resistant eyeglass lenses, cochlear implants, anti-corrosion coating and memory foam.

3) The mathematical abilities were limited back then to be able to to the things we do now. So without the tests money spending and collaboration with other countries we would not be able to have the successful take offs orbits and landings we do now.
