Despite its closeness to Quito, it will take you 6 to 7 hours to get there by car. But don’t be discouraged. The beauty of the beach and the fascinating food are well worth the trip. 

If you are planning to travel there, don’t forget to take responsibility for the trash you make. Try to avoid plastics and help the local economy by buying people’s handicrafts and services. Enjoy your trip!

You can be arrived by the Riobamba-Guaranda highway to the "El Arenal" tourist services center, you must have a guide to avoid accidents and wear warm clothes because it is very cold.

If you are a beginner, you can reach the first shelter called "Carrel", if you like nature and activities such as climbing and hiking, you will love it!.

The Galápagos Islands are an archipelago of volcanic islands. They are located at aproximately 9000 km from the continental coast of Ecuador, in the Pacific Ocean. The islands are known for their large number of endemic species that were studied by Charles Darwin.

In spite to their closeness to Guayaquil, it is necessary to take a plane. The trip lasts one hour to the amazing San Cristobal Island.

If you are planning to travel to the Galapagos Islands, remember not to touch the native animals and not to destroy the beautiful environment.

I recommend visiting the Galapagos Islands, it is a beautiful place for adventure. Enjoy your trip through Ecuador.

Despite its proximity to Guayaquil, it must necessarily be reached by plane or boat. However, the beauty of the islands and the incredible food are worth every penny of the trip.   

Recommendations:   If traveling to this wonderful place is in your plans, do not forget to take responsibility for the garbage and treat the whole place with respect. From Quito to Baños is only 2 hours and a half away, it is very close and there are many things to do in Baños. On the way you can see great landscapes and taste the traditional food of Ecuador.  It is known for its access to trails on the active Tungurahua volcano to the south and for its mineral-rich hot springs. In the center, the Church "Nuestra Señora del Agua Santa" has paintings depicting miracles attributed to the Virgin Maria. To the east, "El Pailón del Diablo" and Agoyán are spectacular waterfalls on the Pastaza River. If you are planning to travel there, don’t forget to take responsibility for the trash you make. Baños is a very nice city to spend with family and friends, I recommend you visit it.

Baños is for you it has a lot of activities to do by yourself or with a partner, a relaxing time in your life and an amazing forest, with rivers, waterfalls, etc., (opposite idea) but if you don’t like it that much it may be a little boring, there wouldn’t be a lot of things to do, but if you have the guts travel to Baños is the best thing to do in summer, By the way, this place it’s around 3 far from Quito, but I promise, all the adventures that you are gone to had would be amazing until you get tired. During this time the hotels will have a lot of tourists, so you maybe want to do a reservation, also going with a large group of friends could be a great option. Even though this city has an amazing infrastructure with its orange roof tile, which is characteristically from almost all built houses, it may be colder weather than in Quito and became a long trip because it takes around 7-8 hours.  
Despite Quito is the capital city of Ecuador and there should be whatever we dream, Cuenca owns a better organization than in the capital, because its citizens in any or other way, take care the appearance of the place where they live, they have laws that allow punish any action that causes damage or even make the city decadent. I mean, it could be because of their smaller population, but shouldn’t we act and be polite in the same way?
If you’re planning to visit a place which has the most beautiful and impressing sights, provides you and excellent gastronomy and if you are not coming by your own car, you should give a chance to try the public transportation that gives you many options which are affordable for you who will be surrounded by tourist attractions. Are you interested in knowing the beautest natural rivers, but you want to bring your whole family, incluiding your pets?

Although Rainforest is one of the most emblematic landscapes in Ecuador, sometimes its enchantment is underrated. For instance, it is said that the most amazing waterfall called "Suyu Pakcha" is located in the capital city of Napo(Tena), which is protected by the environment ministry. Even though in this waterfall you can’t swim, there are many other options, so it is not challenging to find a place you can take your pet with. 

Despite it is a relaxing trip, sometimes it is necessary to walk and the trekking can be tiring, specially for children and seniors. It is necessary to wear sunscreen and summer clothes. Also if you don’t know the way ask for guide. 

If you are planning to go there, make sure that the place where you are going to stay is pet friendly, and whenever there are endemic species nearby, take your pet on a leash.  Do not forget to take care of the environment and enjoy your trip.

 Despite the long travel, that is about 8 hours, it totally worth’s it, the experience that you will have is amazing, even the food is great there, so if you go to Misahualli you must to try a dish called “Maito de tilapia”

 If you plan to travel to Manta, do not forget to bring a sweater for the afternoons and evenings, since it is very windy and you could catch a cold, in addition to wearing loose pants for your comfort and as a last tip, I recommend that you take a pill for discomfort for a lot of food, because you will see so much and so rich that you will want to try all of them.
