Yes they do because if you have bad grades and the you would probably want to start paying attention and do your work because then if you do your work and pay attention in class then you would get good grades.

Grades do motivate me. I don't know about other people but I do get motivated. Whenever I see that I get 4s, it makes me happy and it also makes me want to keep up the good work. It makes me wanna try harder everyday so that I can be a good person and someone big in the future.

In my opinion, I think grades do motivate students, but at the same time not? The reason I believe students get motivated with grades but also don't, is because grades could cause students to maybe feel pressured to get good grades, and maybe that could possibly stress them out. But also, at the same time, yes, because if they get good grades, they would feel happy about how hard they worked. So in conclusion, I guess grades can motivate you but also not. Yes grades motivate me because if i dont get good grades i cant play out side i have to stay in my room the whole summer and my dad is going to spank me just kidding but i will get grounded for a month.Most likely will hit me with the 🤬.

I do think grades motivate students because lets say you have a 2- in something, your going to work harder to get a grade above a 2-. But it also depends on the student, because sometimes they just don't care and don't put effort into the work. This is my opinion and you don't have to agree with m : )

In my opinion No,i don't think so because they get worried or anxious and get scared because a lot of people judge students on there grades and then they start saying stuff like that we should try harder or that were not doing enough or that we are even trying at all but we do and not all teachers understand how hard being a student is.
This is my opinion and you dont have to agree with me :)

Yes, and no. Grades can sometimes put stress onto students making them feel like they have to try harder, and put pressure on themselves. But, on the other hand grades can help improve people by letting them know that they have tried so hard to get what they wanted to get.

I think grades make people worried on how they do because some parents will hit them if they don´t get a good grade.
