This artwork is going to be made out of wasted food coming from our school’s canteen. The idea is to create a portrait following Arcimboldo’s work. The goal of this project is to show how much food we waste and make people blame themselves for this.

We decided to address this as it was the issue our class was most concerned with during our vote. Our food security survey also encouraged this decision.

Our goal is to raise awareness and reduce food waste in our school community. To do so, we decided to take two different actions. Firstly, we will be making some posters which we will be hanging in the canteen queue. Secondly, we will be making an artwork out of the wasted food at our school cafeteria and showing it to the rest of the school. 

We believe that these are good actions as they may encourage people to waste less in our school community. They can raise awareness and encourage them to take actions of their own.

Global_Scholars_Montaigne https://padlet.com/Global_Scholars_Montaigne/CAP/wish/2209132800 We made these posters to send a message to our fellow school students to stop wasting so much food.
As a class we made posters using multiple funny themes like pacman to attract people's attention and we put text on them encouraging our peers to no longer waste food! 
We hung the posters on various cafeteria walls: next to the water dispensers and trash cans as the students spent a lot of time there.
We are hoping that we can spread awareness using these means and help them reduce their food waste.

It is made with the food collected from the cantine. When people were done eating their food, we collected their leftovers. We were surprised by the quantity of leftovers, especially since this day, pasta was served, which is not that disgusting for the cantine.
