It deals with the lives of the members of a big patchwork family. Jay Pritchett is the oldest member and has two adult children with his divorced wife. He remarried a much younger and good looking woman from Colombia called Gloria and lives with her and her son. His daughter Claire is married and has three children and his son Mitchell, who is gay, has a partner who he adopted a child from Vietnam with. Because Gloria is almost the same age as Claire and Mitchell and always gets very expensive presents by their dad, Claire and Mitchell haven‘t really accepted her as their father‘s new wife. Also Jay still can‘t really deal with the fact that his son is gay. 
Even though the series mentiones many important topics like homophobia and racism it is still very funny and you can enjoy watching it. I like the documentary style very much because I think it makes it even funnier. It shows how the Harry Potter films were made and all the effort that was put into it. Actually the story is not that exciting and there‘s not that much happening, but that makes the series perfect to watch while you‘re doing something else like cleaning or cooking. Lorelai and her daughter Rory, who she got when she was 16, live in a small town called Stars Hallow where everyone knows everyone. Because they are only 16 years apart, their relationship is very deep and they are more like best friends than mother and daughter. 
The story starts when Rory is almost 16 and gets accepted to a very good and expensive private school, which forces Lorelai to ask her rich parents who she doesn‘t really get along with for money.

Many people complain about Sheldon and all the other characters changing so much during the seasons, but I think that‘s what makes a series good and makes the viewers continue watching. If all the characters didn‘t change at all, i think that at some point the story would get boring. I really feel with the characters, but all the drama can be a little exhausting, I just want them to be happy. 

But: Season 3 Episode 10: Excuse me??? This makes me SO mad. When she finally made a decision and was happy, they just kill him?
Aand I’m not a huge fan of time warps. I like her shorter hair though.

The documentary gives an overview of how the girls were born and their lives until their fifth birthday. 

The documentary also includes an experiment in which scientist figure out the differences between their personalities. I find it fascinating that even though all of the girls share the same DNA, they have diffrent characters. S3E6: This episode is particularly sad, beacause loosing your wife and the mother of your children to cancer must be an excruciating and devastating experiance.
