Description: To seek meaning from something unexplainable due to our emotions. We will believe in something if it adds more emotional value or meaning to our lives.

Connection: The photo below is of a guardian angel, protecting two young children. This relates to the reason for belief, emotional connection, because guardian angels are not scientifically proven to exist. However, we attach ourselves to the idea of them for our own peace of mind, to make ourselves feel better as we journey through life.

Description: We create signification out of the sequences and connections we see and hear, based on our own beliefs. Our minds evolve patterns to make these connections.

Connection: Below is a youtube video of a few EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) recordings. This is connected to patternicity because if you are trying hard enough to hear actual voices and words from your recordings, then virtually any sound can meet that expectation. People want to believe in paranormal activity so badly, that they create something out of nothing.

This is in direct correlation with the reason for belief, unexplained, because rather than try and understand scientifically what is going on, we assign unimaginable ideas
to explain things for us.

Description: Ancient wisdom is the belief that because things were done one way in the past, that it would still be relevant today. Science and humanity have come so far, it would be senseless to believe that just because something was applicable so many years ago, that it would still be useful today.

Connection: The website link below demonstrates the red flag, ancient wisdom, because it delves into the ancient medicinal system from India that promotes healing and living disease free.

People will blindly follow any sort of higher power that they believe in.

Connection: Faith healing is healing achieved by religious belief and prayer, rather than by medical treatment. Below, the youtube video connects to the red flag, ideological support, through Derren Brown exposing the lies of "faith healing", and how people believe these "miracles" are actually happening because of their religious beliefs.

Just because a celebrity is in an advertisement, doesn't mean they have any idea what they are talking about, or the products they are supporting.

The idea that because it is natural, that it is good for you and will help you.

Connection: The picture below is connected to the all natural red flag because it's a stamp of approval that literally means nothing.
