         <title>1st Day – 07/08/2017 (Monday)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today was my first day doing my SIEP at Country Recipe Restaurant. I start my working time on 7 in the morning. Mr. Woon send me to the restaurant together with him and Madam Tong, so we arrived together around 6.50 in the morning. At first, Madam Tong had let me get used to the kitchen situation, she calls me to have some practice on washing vegetable and also cutting vegetable. Madam Tong teach me to cut the chilli with scissor not with the knife to prevent the chilli burns our hand. Other than that, Madam Tong also teaching me how to cook the rice of the Nasi Lemak, the ingredients that she put was simple but the taste is nice. She said that a great chef’s job is always use the simple ingredient to cook nice dishes, because the food itself have its own features, don’t always placing too many seasoning to gToday was my first day doing my SIEP at Country Recipe Restaurant.          <description><![CDATA[<div>On my second day of training, after I done my early morning preparation, Madam Tong let me help on desk which before Madam Choo reached. Normally in the morning, many of the customer will having their breakfast at restaurant. Their favourite meals is like half boil eggs and also toasted bread. I was helping Mr. Woon in the kitchen with toasting the bread. Customers can always choose to having planta or butter with kaya with different prices. The butter that using by the Restaurant is Anchor Salted Butter and many of the customer will choose having butter although its price is higher than planta.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My third day on SIEP was trying different character as a waitress. At the lunch hour that with crowded of people, I am helping Madam Choo to taking orders and also sending their meals to them. Madam Choo told me that for some customers who come every day, we have to remember about their habit like a customer who always order Nasi Lemak but he doesn’t want peanut, we used to remember their habit to make them feel he is important and friendly to them. It is a new challenge to me because I am new for it and sometimes they didn’t really tell me what was their habit, so I need to ask Madam Choo one by one. Other than that, Nasi Lemak was preparing by Madam Choo, so I also need to help Madam Choo to prepare Nasi Lemak. The ingredient that Nasi Lemak of Country Recipe include is rice, peanut and anchovies, sambal that cooked by Madam Tong herself, half full boil egg and also a piece of curry chicken. If some customer doesn’t want to have curry chicken, they might have a choice to have two slices of luncheon as replacement. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>4th Day – 10/08/2017 (Thursday)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today, I try to be cashier and also waitress. Customer here won’t go to counter for paying their bill, they are calling us to their table and pay us. Madam Choo will always have an apron to put for the exchange money. She was great on her calculation, she can just collect money and giving the change money to customer without using calculator. She will get the exchange money every morning from Mr. Woon and the money all will giving back to Mr. Woon that she collects every day. Some of the customer might also come to counter for paying their bill. Normally, I am the one who standing at the counter and waiting customer calling us to collect their fees that they spent in our restaurant. It need a high attention at the front counter. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my fifth day, I tried to help Madam Tong and Mr. Woon in the kitchen. I tried to help Madam Tong with some preparation on some ingredient. I tried to cut some vegetable like French bean, carrot and onion which is for fried rice. We didn’t use frozen vegetable for fried rice, all ingredient that we use is fresh and prepare it every day. They have variant types of fried rice. They have Sambal fried rice, Luncheon meat fried rice, salted fish fried rice and also normal fried rice. Each type of the fried rice has different type of ingredient, for example normal fried rice is vegetable that I cut for preparation which is French bean, carrot and also onion, prawn, egg and also Char Siu together. Sambal fried rice is vegetable, prawn, egg and fish cake with sambal that cooked by Madam Tong herself. Salted fish fried rice is with vegetable, egg and also fish cake. For the salted fish, Mr. Woon will fried it and cut into small pieces place on the top of the fried rice. Every fried rice is included a fried egg. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After two rest day, I started my SIEP again at Country Recipe Restaurant. After I done my morning preparation like swipe every table and chair, cooking white rice and also Nasi Lemak rice. Today, Madam Tong call me to clean the chicken. She had bought about 3 chicken and call to me to clean it up. She teaches me that which part need to clean it up and which part of the chicken have to throw it away that we never use. Normally, the fur that near chicken wing is hard to clean, so I have to clean it patiently and carefully. After clean up, she chops the chicken into different size and pieces. Drum sticks part is for curry chicken and other part like breast she leaves it for special dishes. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today, Mr Woon teach me how to cook the noodles. He said the noodles that he made is without alkaline water. So, the noodles that he made need to always be fresh because it can’t store it for too long. The noodles that he made no need to cook for long time and it doesn’t need to wash and let it cool down. After the noodles is cook, it already can add soup or just add some soya sauce and send it to customer based on the order. Except the noodles that made by Mr. Woon, Meehun, Kuoy Teow and also Yee Mee is also provided. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today didn’t have any changes between my job, it just to be a waitress at the morning time, after Madam Choo reach, I tried to help Madam Tong in the kitchen to do the preparation. Normally, Wednesday does not have many customers and sometimes will be free, then we all like sitting and chat to each other. I always listen to Mr. Woon his experience or sometimes I just sit alone and watch newspaper which provided by the restaurant for customer every day.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since I have done my part of job, Mr Woon tried to give me some new task which is help him to make the noodles. Firstly, he will do the first phrase for me which is mix the ingredient like flour, eggs, salt into mixer to mix it. After it become a dough, we need to mix it until soft, it takes a long time to make sure that the noodle won’t be too soft and with tenacity. Making the noodles, it makes me feel tired and also take a long time because it needs a lot of effort. At last, Mr Woon help me to done the last section because I take long time so maybe will make the dough loss it toughness.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My last day of work is like usual, done cleaning the table, cook rice, wash vegetable, and also prepare breakfast for Mr. Woon, Madam Tong and I. After we have our breakfast, we are watching newspaper on our own. After Madam Choo come, I done my work in the kitchen like usual chopping garlic, green onion and also chili, helping Madam Tong to cook stuff like sambal. Normally we will be done our preparation at about 11 in the morning, then we will have some chat in the kitchen or will have some free time to done own thing. When it tills lunch hour, it will be peak and every one of us was rushing for taking orders and also sending food to customer. After the lunch hour, customer had less then we have our lunch at about 2p.m. After lunch, we will start to tidy up the kitchen. At 4.30p.m. we close the shop and start to swipe and mop the floor. It is a big area of the shop and the floor usual will be dirty and oily. At last, I said Thank You will Mr. Woon let me have a chance to understand and also teaching me so much of thing.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
