I used this for when we were woking on summarizing. I spilt kids up into 4 groups. We read the introduction of the story together. Then I assigned each group a chuck of the story. The group wrote a summary for their chunk of the story and put it on a google slide. If each group did a good job summarizing their chunk of the story the whole class would be able to have a good idea of what happen in the story when we read through the entire slide show together.

I used Google Slides to create a Fact or Fiction Showdown using Word Wall Words. I would show a word and say it correctly or use another word and students had to lift up the colored post it that either showed they believed it was Fact or Fiction. I also included a slide with the answer showing Fact or Fiction with music/sound effects.
