We can also look for partners and carry out Erasmus+ projects both for students and staff. I encountered a few problems while looking for partners or carrying out European projects. We promote tolerance, however, some countries clearly say that they don't want such "unimportant", "minor" countries as their partners. So, it's quite a challenge to find partners sometimes.

I already enrolled etwinning and last year we had the Project " Surviving is not Living" which got the Quality Label. Now I just invite techers who didn't have this fantastic experience to try, because it' s really one of the best ways to involve ors students actively. As we have heard etwinning is an example of collaboration among teachers and students from all over Europe. In April I attended a course on ICT and collaborative and project based teaching and learning funded by Erasmus Plus, I met so many enthusiastic teachers from Greece, Ireland, Poland, Lithuania. We shared experiences and practices and we are still in touch to engage in a project.

So doing they will realize how foreign languages are a means to communicate, nor just a school subject. What is behind the concept is simple: instead of being stimulated by traditional classes, students should seek answers to complex questions, often multidisciplinary, and should present a final product as a result of their research. In the meantime, they plan, organize and execute the project, they come across in practice with situations where they need to work harmoniously together, dealing with different opinions, communicate what they are thinking, defend their point of view and criticize those who not consider to be appropriate. Just like in “real life”. I try to use as often as possible PBL approach in my classes. One of the best way to use it is with a eTwinning project, for sure.

I love PBL and use it in my classes. Almost every school year I present one good practice in PBL at my colleagues in my region. In mi opinion teachers afraid use PBL, they follow strictly themes in textbooks than often are one-ways and without cross-curricular links thus the students recieve only statistic knowledges. PBL give them priviledge developing more skills and learn how solve problems.

The national "Young apprenticeship programme" has been developing in Italy since last year. In fact young apprenticeship experiences had already been developed in some regions some time before. They are both example of providing entrepreneurship education and creating a link between school and the world outside i.e. the business sector.

I've been working in eTwinning for several years, running projects with partners from Europe. It is a great challenge for teachers not just to develop PBL but also to get involved with learning events, expert talks, teacher groups etc.
And about entrepreneurship , it is true that students get really involved in an entrepreneurial project. In my school pupils in Grade 5 work on the creation of a cooperative during the whole school year. it's great!

I think e-twinning project are an ideal opportunity for teachers to work on the development of Key Competences in a practical and motivating way. I prefer the project called, Pek the traveller flea, with students from the vocational school sector in France, Spain , Italy, Portugal Czech Republic and Turkey, working together. I like it because I teach English as foreign language and the project worked on developing competence in foreign languages, and cultural awareness and expression, through building the story of Pek and his travels in the form of a digital comic strip.

It is great to promote entrepreneutrial competence on such transparent and structurated way. I must see the examples in library. In my country there are some programs that promote this activity but there is not general opinion that this learning can, and should be, applied in any subject anda age group. Many theachers in my country see themselves as a great subject professors and think that they should teach just their subject and to oft on old way - content centred. It is more often in secondary schools.

In this Video by Anne Gilleran I found her 3 examples really interesting, useful and effective used in the PBL teaching. She implemented them in e Twinning project that as we know is the largest community for teachers in Europe. I fascinated by the first project, called "Raibow Village ", maybe I teach in a Secondary School and I like the idea that students can create a their own world, using their fantasy, needs and rules, becoming more awareness of real life problems ,while they are trying to recreate a small society. I' m sure to implement this project in one of my class this year.

Thinking of the final product of this project , that is the building of a miniatur society, we can refer also to an entrepreneurial learning in which teachers, well trained, help students to develop skills they will need to succeed in the world of work.

I don't like Etwinning projects very much, I think they are too complicated in their structure.
What I really liked and experienced have been Mystery Skype sessions, with foreign countries: my students loved it, they worked in group, used tablets, each group with a different role, and the possibility to assess both oral and written skill in the English language. Etwinning: I've been thinking of working on etwinning for a long time but never had the time and probably conviction so far. Anne's presentation has really convinced me that it is high time I started! My LA will be based on the idea I have in mind for my second year students, starting from the necessity of getting the students know the beautiful environment they live in but give for granted or don't really see.
Also entrepreneurial school is worth looking into, especially now that we have "Alternanza Scuola Lavoro" mandatory starting from the third year for our secondary school students. So, thank you for all these resources and information that will have to be "digested" and studied with a little more time.
One consideration however: it seems to me that all these projects need a fundamental starting point, i.e. a whole class teacher board (Consiglio di Classe?) ready and willing to face a year long common and shared work, where cooperation, contribution and communication are the shared working tools. And this, unfortunately, is not always the case in our Italian schools.

I have been a E-Twinner for two years and I'm really enthusiastic. Even if the projects I carried out were quite simple, the results were excellent. Oh, what a dream activities in entrepreneurship education in my territory, so poor, so lacking in industry, service industry and so rich of resources – agriculture, culture, environment – so gripped by burocracy, by the problems of whole Italy (unemployment in the Southern Italy, corruptions, crimes…) and , at the same time, so strong to keeping alive the hope! So, you can not think about developping of entrepreneurshipskills without considering the real econimic conditions of your territory and the difficult to lloking for a mentor. This is caused also by the education system, very far from the real world of job and working since a lot of decades and now just the same school has to correct this distorsion and take the situation in her hands, if politics or other institutions are insufficient, and work with them. Just in a territory of this sort the teachers have the difficult task to guide the students to create a mini-company. But the way is yet tracked by the reform of 107 ACt, with alternance school/work: now we could change all the teachers' way of thingkinch and "do" school.

I do believe there is some potential in this type of pedagogies, nevertheless this type of methodologies clearly lead to the stress of the business values, especially sucess and profit, leaving little room for human values ( such as the ones registered in Declaration of the Human Rights), because the students will soon learn that competing and winning are the only values that matter , therefore if you aren't a shark most likely you are the prey.
Is it possible to humanize the trade model which has already done so much for us, but still perpetrates the idea of first and second class citizens... We all need to do our parts to live in harmony and trade should also be part of that huge project that is teaching people how to coexist peacefully.

I think that the italian reform "Buona scuola " is going in this direction. Entrepreneurship and virtual bussines are all progects in the 400 hours of ALTERNANZA SCUOLA E LAVORO that italian students must do in their last 3 years of high school. this obligises all schools to think about PBL.

I'm an eTwinner and I know the value of eTwinning projects. Now I'm involved in two projects with my pupils and it is a very very interesting way of developing students skills and competences. Interesting In eTwinning, a project based between two teachers from different
European countries. Especially the invitation to extend to other teachers and to join the project through an online space. Effective exchange of collaboration and discussion between teachers and even students.
The focus on demand I find brilliant:
based learning and problem solving, but above all the problems of life as a starting point. I visited the site and found it delicious and innovative. The base is the development of key skills in a practical and motivating. Examples of Anne Gilleran are clear also according to the different ages of the students. Even videos, links, and the work is excellent. The project called Rainbow Village is a perfect example of how to develop social competence and civic education in young people.
The TwinSpace for this project highlights the myriad of tasks students performed, to decide the best situation for their village, drawing up the rules of their society and
keeping real-time election.
The workspace for this project, available from the library course, there is a range of topics from
Art and Music to the History, Science and Mathematics. The students had to explore each subject, and then to work in an international team to set challenges for the entire group. And 'evident the opportunity to develop other skills such as digital competence and communication both in the mother tongue and
foreign languages.

I don't like Etwinning projects very much, I think they are too complicated in their structure.

What I really liked and experienced have been Mystery Skype sessions, with foreign countries: my students loved it, they worked in group, used tablets, each group with a different role, and the possibility to assess both oral and written skill in the English language. I developed a PBL focusing on digital skills, foreign language, cultural awareness
