The genre of rock has changed over the years, but oldies rock like the years 70s, 80s, and 90s are my favorite years of rock music. It is nothing compared to what is being played now. Rock bands like The Beatles, Queen, and Aerosmith are some of the bands that I mostly listen to. There are so many more bands I love to hear, but the list is so long, you will probably finish reading this by next week.

My favorite parts of music are the stories behind the song and background of the people in the band, but most importantly, the lyrics that are being sung and the instruments that are being played. Many songs are beautifully written and played that I actually start to form a connection to them!

One of lyrics that I have really felt in my heart are

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing. Watch you smile while you are sleeping, while you’re far away and dreaming. I could spend my life in this sweet surrender. I could stay lost in this moment forever

from "I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing." It reminds me of my husband and my daughter. It makes me think of and feel all the love I have for them. I really could spend my whole life with them and stay lost in the moments that I have with them.

Another set of lyrics that I resonate with are

sleep pretty darling, do not cry, and I will sing a lullaby

from Golden Slumbers by The Beatles because it takes me back to my childhood. The song "Golden Slumbers" has always been played around me and each time I heard it, I sang along. It makes me feel like the little girl I used to be and it makes me think that time truly passes by so quickly.

The piano makes me extremely emotional, especially in the song "Golden Slumbers," as well as the drums. I also get very excited whenever I hear an electric guitar in any song I am listening to! It sounds even better when someone is playing it right in front of you.

I love that I get emotional connections from songs that I listen to because it makes me feel less alone in the world. It makes me think that someone else has felt or is feeling the way that I do and they’ve made something beautiful out of it. Whether you’re feeling sad or angry, listening to a song that makes you feel validated can be very beneficial for you!

When most people picture a police dog, we tend to imagine big, scary dog with sharp teeth and a piercing bark. But have you ever encountered a silly labradoodle with an affinity for chasing rubber balls and sitting pretty for all to see?

Introducing Officer Ginger, the newest (and fluffiest) addition to the dragon family! At only 18 months old, this sweet girl is the City of Doral Police's very own therapy dog, specially trained to be a comforting presence for anyone that needs a pick-me-up during a hard time (or during any time, really). Don't let her beady eyes and cute little face fool you, Officer Ginger is a professional and is very well behaved. She doesn't mind sitting still for a few scratches behind the ear.

If you ever need to ginger up your day, make sure to greet Officer Ginger on Fridays when she's in the building! Don't be afraid to ask Officer Oliveira any questions you may have about the sweet pup working hard to keep us safe and make us smile. Let them know the writing club sent you! ☆

One of the main things that helped me pass the reading test was READING. Reading is like solving mysteries. As you read every day, you gain a lot of knowledge and details you can use in your next test. For example, reading poems helped me understand how to focus on the main idea and helped me practice using context clues. Besides poetry, there are many genres you can read and plenty of books to enjoy.

In addition to reading, learning and practicing new vocabulary words is so important. During tutoring with Ms. Valdes, she gave us a journal and made us write down words we didn't know and define them. I saw many of those words on the test and luckily remembered what they meant because of the journal. These methods help a lot because our brains are working, improving, and growing as we learned these words.

Another helpful practice is Reading Plus. It is amazing, in my opinion, because it shows how fast or slow you read. It helped me increase my reading level and my understanding. As I kept reading passages on Reading Plus, I had this focus on how to read books faster. I was able to finish my test on time, but the difference was that I understood the passage better than before.

Believing and focusing on how you're going to do on your next test is so important because it makes you feel confident about passing. Studying and reading are so important for the test and the real world!

When i first came to Doral Park I was a little unsure, even though I came by choice. Moving schools was never the normal for me. The first 2 days you're in the pm section for Orientation. I definitely did not like it, so I was really unsure by this point and started to think it was better if I went back. BUT I decided to give Doral Park another chance. Since then I have not regretted it one bit. This school offered me so many opportunities, unlike my last school. There are so many good things in this school its hard not to fall in love with it. I'm gonna give you a few pros that my school offers: You're only in school for 5 hours which for us students that is a win, we have high level security which makes it very safe from threats which is different from regular public school since they struggle witch constant threats, we offer tutoring, the teachers aren't burnt out, and most importantly when we feel something isn't right we talk to our amazing principal. Ms. Ortiz always finds a way to make a solution for us and for me that's specifically a big one because it builds trust and safety with in us. Even though the next one I am going to mention doesn't feel like a good thing. it is! When they remove our phones, they are doing it to help us focus and learn to live without your phone. In comparison to regular High School they do a lot for us and pay more attention to us than any other school will. That is why I chose Doral Park as my High School.

I am choosing to speak about Selena Quintanilla for Hispanic Heritage month. Even though I wasn’t born when she became the “Queen of Tejano Music”, I still enjoy her music and feel deeply saddened when I hear about her passing.

Selena was born on April 16, 1971 at Lake Jackson, Texas. Her mother and father are Marcella Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena was actually raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, and at the age of 6, her father recognized her many talents! Selena and her siblings first performed in Abraham’s restaurant called Papa Gayo’s. When they relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas, her father became the manager of the band Selena y Los Dinos. Selena was taken out of school by 8th grade. Although, she still earned to get a high school diploma when she was just seventeen years old. She also studied business administration in college.

In 1984, Selena recorded her first LP and appeared on the Johnny Canales Show to promote it. Then, in 1987, she won the Female Vocalist of The Year Award! She continued to hold that title for 9 years. By 1988, she released 5 records. Selena met a man named Chris Perez in 1990, when he joined the Selena y Los Dinos band. They soon enough fell in love with each other after a trip to Mexico for a partnership Selena had gotten with Coca-Cola! Their relationship was kept a secret, but her father, Abraham, soon enough found out and opposed of it. That didn’t stop them to keep loving each other, though. They got married in 1992 at the Nueces County Courthouse.

Before her passing, in 1993, Selena opened up her own boutique in Corpus Christi and San Antonio, Texas. Yolanda Saldivar, the president of Selena’s fan club and soon then the manager of the boutique, was forging checks and stealing money from the boutique. Yolanda got caught by Selena, which sadly caused a tragedy. Selena lost her life only at the age of 23.

Selena Quintanilla’s music makes me feel something deeply in my heart. I can feel her emotions in every lyric. One of the many songs that make me emotional the most is “No Me Queda Mas.” another song is “Si Una Vez” and, if you prefer English rather than spanish lyrics, “I Could Fall In Love” and “I’m Getting Used To You.” I am very glad to experience such wonderful music. Thank you, Selena, for sharing your beautiful talents to so many of us. ♡

I was curious about the job of our FSS and her interns, so I asked them a few questions. I talked about a series of topics with Ms. Hernandez and her interns, Luis Pou and Mariam Gonzalez. First I asked what they thought about excused mental health days, which some people criticize. Ms. Hernandez responded that

 “mental health days should be excused but not abused,”

and her interns all shared similar thinking. Mariam added that “people deal with so many things on daily basis that it can affect how they do and perform in school.” Rather than creating a negative situation at work or school, people should be able to take an excused mental health day. Then I asked about their favorite part of their job. They stated that the best part is when people go from being closed off to sharing. Watching students make progress and use the tools they taught them is especially satisfying. Ms. Hernandez allowed me to share that she herself had struggled with mental health as a teen and didn't have what she is able to now provide for other students, so when she sees students progressing and continuously getting better it is very rewarding. Finally I asked about the hardest part of their job. Ms. Hernandez shared that not being able to do your job is the hardest when you know a kid might need specific help, but due to legal reasons, you cannot provide it.  I enjoyed getting a glimpse into their world, and I have an even greater appreciation for their hard work.

I view problems as obstacles and no matter how hard your obstacle is--depression, family problems, insecurities, betrayals-- they can be overcome. I tell the average person that it all starts with your mindset: you can overcome your problems. I also know it's easier said than done. My idol , David Goggins, does not speak softly or nicely, but he transforms many people stuck in the rabbit hole. My favorite quote of his is when he yells

"WHO'S GOING TO CARRY THE BOATS?"

This is his reminder that the job needs to get done, and you can't get it done by being weak. I had many insecurities. I got by them by reminding myself that I have one life, and no one can do or fix my life but me. I would tell someone going through the same to remind yourself that nothing is permanent. It's temporary. Keep pushing no matter what because if you give up, who's going to carry the boats?

Now, if you really want to go to your dream college, there are ways to make it happen with less debt.  One possible route would be to join the military.  They offer to pay every penny of college. It will be a difficult decision, and you need to do research, since there are colleges that the military doesn't offer to pay (like some private or foreign schools).  But it’s one of the best choices, as not only are you not paying for education but you’re being paid fairly, being honored, and being taught discipline and lifetime experiences. Another solution would be to be able to wait some years and earn the money. Anyone of any age can go to college; you don’t have to go right when you are 18.  

Taking accountability for our choices can be hard for most of us, as it can always mean not being able to do, go or see stuff we want or always dreamed of due to money situations. This is mostly shown in the 20% of the population in in the USA who still pay student loans, even if they went to school roughly 40 to 50 years ago. On the other hand, going to the school of your dreams can really make someone happy and allow them to work in the profession they enjoy doing the most. Just remember that there’s a huge risk of having to pay loans  for the school you attended decades ago! 

Vinicus Jr, a young player from Sao Goncalo, a city in Brazil. Vini has unfortunately faced numerous instances of racial abuse over the past few years. In October 24,2021, during a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou, Vini was subjected to racial abuse by fans. September 2022, in a Derby match against Atletico Madrid, Vini also faced racist chants from a section of the fans. There was an incident in January 2023 where a mannequin wearing Vini Jr's jersey was hung from a bridge. It was deeply troubling and led to the arrest of four individuals. In May 2023, at Valencia's stadium, Vini Jr was racially abused which led to a significant outcry and the eventual sentence of three fans to prison. June 2024, sixteen incidents of racial abuse against Vinicus Jr were reported to Spanish prosecutors by LaLiga over the last two seasons.

Spain is known to be the epicenter of racism, right after the United States. In the past three years over 7,126 hate crimes were reported in Spain. The United States doesn't fall behind, in just three years over 35,130 hate crimes were reported. Spain can fight racism by making educational programs that promote diversity and inclusion, strengthening and enforcing anti-discriminatory laws, and collecting data on racial inequalities to developing targeted policies. The reason the US has way more hate crimes than Spain is because the population is bigger than theirs.

The first player we'll talk about is Cristiano Ronaldo, or as many know him: CR7. Known for his incredible athleticism and goal-scoring power. Even though he's pushing forty, Ronaldo remains a dominant force on the field.

The second player is Vinicius Jr., a dynamic winger who has become a key player for his club and country. His speed and dribbling skills make him a constant threat to his opponents.

The third player is Jude Bellingham, an amazing midfielder. Bellingham has impressed with his performances at both club and international levels. His ability to control the game and contribute both offensively and defensively makes him a standout player.

The list continues to go off with Haaland, Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Mbappe, Harry Kane, and so many more.

These players represent the greatest of players of 2025. Their contributions to the sport have not only entertained millions of fans worldwide, but also set new standards of excellence. As the game continues to evolve, these starts will indeed leave an unforgettable mark on soccer history.

Everything about this performance was planned out to the letter, from the backup dancers dressed in red, white, and blue – both a reference to the American flag and gang culture, which Lamar grew up around – to the lowercase ‘a’ the artist wore on his chain. (A minor...Hehe.) In my humble opinion, this performance was a wonderful display of Black pride and a celebration of the culture. While I am not Black, it’s a beautiful thing to witness and take in from the sidelines. Another showstopping performance from the genius Kendrick Lamar, and one that will certainly go down in history.

Basically, choose something that has either sentimental value or on hands work or both; everything else will eventually be trained to reciprocate human behavior. And to further help, ask why those specific careers. Because... would you want a robot to give you surgery? Would you want a piece of art that everybody has because AI has given the same image to thousands? Would you want a robot teaching your kid? Would you want your psychiatrist to be a robot that would never be able to relate to you? Would you like the manager of an entire store to only have robots and no one with actual concerns about the produce? Would you want a robot redoing your electricity knowing one simple mistake and you can both end up in flames? The answer to all is NO! There are certain jobs that they will never replace but many that will and already have been replaced.

There are many ways if you really think about it! If you don't have a significant other, that's okay. You're not alone. There are two alternatives-- spending the day with your friends or family or taking yourself out on a date! Eat out with your mom or dad, go on a road trip with your friends. Have a self-care day. There are endless ideas.

Gifts can be time sensitive and not everyone likes chocolates with flowers. A pen and paper can lead to many presents. They come from the heart and it's creative! Write a love letter, draw a picture, make a collage full of photos. Let yourself be spontaneous-- and if you prefer using technology, make a playlist, record videos and make a slideshow of your favorite memories. Do anything that your heart tells you!

Valentine's day may feel "overrated," but at the end of the day, it's all about making people feel loved. Give your special someone a hug or a kiss. Tell your parents "thank you for everything you do." Give your teachers a card that shows appreciation to them. Love is and will always be everywhere.

It's no secret that DAMN. is one of Kendrick's best works, being the 10th most streamed hip-hop album on Spotify. However, whenever the topic is brought up, I can't help but notice not a lot of people mention XXX. In my opinion, it's one of the best -- if not THE best -- song off DAMN. It drives in headfirst to both the political and religious themes of the album with a great instrumental and lyrics you should read twice.

Compton - good kid, m.A.A.d city

Kendrick has a habit of name-dropping his hometown, Compton, California is a lot of his music. This track, which was a collaboration with the notorious Dr. Dre, talks about how he kept himself away from the criminal activities happening in his city. Compton was the very first song Kendrick made with Dr. Dre and even called it "the start of [his] new life."

euphoria - Single

"But Amelia! euphoria was everywhere when it came out!" I know, but I have a lot to say about this song! When looking back on the infamous rap beef between Kendrick and Canadian artist Drake, people tend to talk about Not Like Us way more than euphoria. Which, while both songs are spectacular, I think euphoria could use just a little more love. With a whopping 3 beat switches, euphoria went on for 6 whole minutes, throwing accusation after accusation at Drake. It was what really got the ball rolling on the beef, in my opinion. Especially when Kendrick started listing everything he hated about Drake bluntly. Eek!

2. Besides making you laugh, it makes you feel sad at the same time, but when you watch it it makes you feel part of it.

Living in Miami there's a lot of salsa dancers; everywhere you go now in Miami you're always going to see a salsa dancer in a party and you don't want to feel left out- so here are 3 tips to help you learn how to dance salsa.

• When dancing salsa you always want to move your body, especially your rib cage. You don't want to look like a board.

• Dancing salsa you always want to listen to the beats. Some songs that are good to listen to are "Timbalero" "Brujeria" "Ojos Chinos" all by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.

• An important thing to keep in mind about dancing salsa is always making sure you're dancing on the right count. If a salsa dancer sees you dancing on the wrong count, they're going to know you are a beginner salsa dancer from the jump! So always make sure you pay attention to the counts.

Some dishes are played around with; they mix ingredients that people usually wouldn't use and make it work, such as Spicy tuna tacos. These tacos are simple yet delicious. To make these tacos you need spicy mayo, fresh tuna, ripe mangos, ripe avocados, sesame seeds, soy sauce, tortilla, and wasabi. You first chop the tuna filet into little cubes and do the same with the avocados, and the mangos. Next you mix everything you chopped up with all your seasonings. Then the final step is to deep fry the tortilla and layer everything on top and add a drizzle of spicy mayo.

The next dish is not really a creative dish but more of a classical dish. This dish originated in Italy. Its made with the following ingredients: butter,pepper corn,pasta,egg yolks, Parmesan, and olive oil. The first thing your gonna do is toast the pepper corn on a skillet to enhance the flavor. Next step is to get your water and boil it with a little bit of olive oil and after it is at a rolling boil you add your pasta noodles and let it boil for around 10-15 min, then to make your sauce you melt your butter add your Parmesan cheese and then lower the heat and add your egg yolks slowly so they don't cook while mixing. Then you crush your pepper corn add it to the sauce and then add a little bit of pasta water to make the sauce nice and smooth. To plate it you just grab a scoop of noodles twirl them around the plate and then add the sauce and some more Parmesan cheese.

But the best dish that Ive tried has got to be my grandma's pan con bistec. It is a Cuban culture sandwich it is made with Cuban bread, thinly cut flank steak ,with grilled onions, and also tomatoes and lettuce. The first step into making the pan con bistec is by buttering the bread then toasting it, Next step is to saute your onions then add your steak then cook it to your liking. After that it all comes down to assembling the sandwich your get your bread cut in half add your steak with onions then add your tomato lettuce salt and pepper and if you'd like you could add salt and viniger.

• Another huge impact for the fashion industry would be the Roaring 20s as it was after the great war, Men came back home and women were forced to fall back to their traditional roles as wives and mothers and leave their jobs they took when the men when to war. Flappers became the new trend encouraging woman to rebel against the "lady like" traditional roles of being stay at home mothers by going partying, drinking, and smoking, but their dresses is what really took huge part in fashion being all boxy and boyish short to break the traditional woman clothing of being long and having to wear a corset to show curves

  
  

• The huge impact in the 70s was not only for women but Men too as the Flamboyant style wearing tight flared pants with heeled boots and colorful button ups makes it one of the first era for Men's fashion to not be so "Masculine" to attract, as homosexuals became more opened to dress and attract after the civil right movement in the 60s, as the flamboyant style is currently alive becoming more popular in the 70s and 80s.

Instruments are the paintbrush on which we paint music. Now everyone knows the big instruments, piano, guitar, trumpet, alto saxophone (most people just call it the saxophone without realizing Its one kind of saxophone). But even then the musical world has hundreds of more instruments, to the oldest bone flutes, to the modern world of synths. Music is a field of infinite potential. Even this potential is barely pushed to its full potential due to people overlooking many of the great tools we call instruments to use. But let me introduce you to the world of forgotten but amazing instruments.

The bass saxophone is often overlooked not just by the every day person who doesn't know much about music theory, but even by musical experts. The bass saxophone is a reed woodwind instrument like all saxophones. A reed is a small piece of wood you vibrate with your mouth, specifically saxophones use single reed, some other single reed instruments are the clarinet, and.... well its really just those two instrument families. And as for double reed instruments they have the bassoon and oboe. Despite that the fact that the bass sax is highly unpopular, bass saxophone still remains as a stepping stone of the world of music. It was the first saxophone after all, all saxophones (except one) we're created and designed by Adolph Sax, who would forever change the world of music by his invention. He first toured Europe using the bass saxophone, and it sure did pack a punch. Being two octaves and a half under the average alto saxophone, its low and strong, having a slight percussive aspect to its sound. The image used for this post is an actual bass saxophone.

The hammered dulcimer is a pitched percussive instrument where you hit strings with a "hammer" to produce a sound. Originating from Iran (not just speaking about modern day Iran, Afghanistan and western Pakistan are all technically Iranian too). The hammered dulcimer sure is a great and overlooked instrument. It makes it sounds in a similar way to the piano, having a hammer that hits a string. The hammered dulcimer is known for its soft and mystical sound, often giving a sense of ancient wonder and magic. The dulcimer is compact too and doesn't require you to move it with a truck unlike other pitched percussive instruments. The hammered dulcimer is an ancient relic of the past that still remains usable to this day. An instrument of this history and use shouldn't be overlooked, as it is truly one of the best percussive instruments in the entirety of the musical world.

And finally the cornet. The cornet is very similar to the trumpet, the two instruments actually being related. The two look almost identical. The two are made of brass, both use valves, and both take on the soprano role (one of the four main roles an instrument can take, soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.) But there is one small difference, that ultimately makes these two instruments completely different. The bore shape. The bore shape of an instrument is one of the most important and key factors of how an instrument sounds. Two main kinds of bores exist, cylindrical and conical bores. But wait, what do bore shapes even do? They are the shape of the tubing and impact the sound of the instrument. The trumpet has a conical bore meaning the tubing stays the same until it reaches the bell, and the cornet has a conical bore meaning the tubing starts of small but slowly gets bigger. This results on the cornet giving off a more mellower and slightly jazzier sound.

These are truly underrated paintbrushes, they could be used to paint a song in so many different and unique ways but yet are so underused. But I say it doesn't have to be like that. Learn these instruments and use them, let the world of music expand, create new emotions, new feelings! Music doesn't have to be limited, it can expand, and grow into something bigger and stronger!

When I walk into her house the first thing I smell is her carne asada with rice cause she knows that's the first thing I'm going to ask for when I walk in.

My question for you today is this: if we all have interests and hobbies that we hold dear, why do we try to care about them less? Maybe you haven't noticed, but I certainly have!

Personally, I trace it all back to bullying culture and societal norms. Growing up, I was bullied for my interests and hobbies. I was seen as weird, or strange, which really made me hide the things I love. Even today, I still struggle to be outspoken about my favorite things when in big groups of people who don't share the same interests. A lot of the time, we tend to shut ourselves down from being vocal about our favorite things to appear more "normal"--I don't think that's okay at all.

Enjoying things and having favorites is--in my opinion--a cornerstone of getting the most out of life. Our favorite things bring us happiness, peace, comfort, and so many other nice feelings we need to thrive. I'm positive a lot of you have made friends based on these interests, I know I have.

My solution? Be vocal! Be proud! Expressing yourself is a human right, you're allowed to share your favorite things with the people around you. Passion is a beautiful thing--something everyone should have.

In a way, everything around us is made up from passion. Someone was passionate enough to create the computers we do schoolwork on, someone was passionate enough to get into fashion design and made the clothes you're wearing right now, someone was passionate enough to try something new and make your favorite foods. We should have the same passion for the things we love!

All in all, enjoying our favorite things and being loud about them is very important to me. In a perfect world, I think everyone would be vocal about their hobbies and interests, and share the love with the rest of the world.

Every Christmas my mami would get over 100 people requesting and waiting for her bottle of coquito. Not only did she LOVE to do it for others she always collected bottles, designed the bottles, used a lot of her creativity. Growing up there was never a Christmas I wasn't in the kitchen "raspando" the actual nutmeg. i still remember how much pain my little fingers where in from accidentally catching my finger in the grater. every year there would ALWAYS be left over cans of coconut milk, coconut cream condensed milk, evaporated milk , and liquor bottles. It came to the point where we would have to buy glass bottles because everyone wanted some of my mami's coquito. I would always try to learn and pay attention on learning the recipe but i swear i was so much more focused on how she used to say ill be fine after accidentally hurting my finger. When i mean grinding i mean grating a actual nutmeg seasoning. the whole house smelt like santa was roaming thru the whole house. Coquito is like nutmeg but way better. nutmeg is nothing compared to my mamis coquito. her coquito was so good to the point i literally wouldn't even try no one else's because i know it wouldn't ever compare to hers. I remember how she'd always make me my own bottle of coquito even though she hated me having that sugar rush making the coquito for me and putting it away for me always put the biggest smile on her face. Her coquito was the #1 thing that blew her phone up other than scam risks every Christmas. Now as the holidays begin to approach not only do i wonder if i really do remember how to make her coquito. But will it taste the same? Will it still have warmness of love and affection attached to each sip? Not only do i know I'd probably burn the house down trying , just doing it alone this year genuinely drains all the blood from my head. Coquito was my mami's way of saying HEYYY IM BORICUA DE LA ISLA AND IM PROUD. she was proud to represent her flag , culture, and favorite "bebidas" throughout the year. It'd be ,march and she'd already be getting calls to save them a bottle. We'd start saving liqour bottles in may just to make sure we had enough. My grandmother did this for all of my friends, my moms friends/coworkers, my grandfathers friends, family, coworkers. each year it have to be about more than 40 liquour bottles saved somewhere just for each family. My favorite part was listening to her stories and the fact she did all of this from the goodness of her heart. She never had anyone pay for her coquito. It was always her form of gifting.

"That smells so delicious, Grandma... What's so special about you cooking? Don't worry, son, you'll find out soon enough."

I don't know, she went out into the hot yard and killed an animal, the pork ran through that sparkling, dazzling pot that my heart fell in love with. Oh, how sweet this smell is. I don't know what it smelled like, something I can't explain, a mixture of love, such a delicious seasoning, a sweet tamale sat on the table. This is rice with rice, my son, traditional Cuban food. Invite your friends over, there's going to be plenty of food here today. Just imagine how it was, I ate so much, boy, I felt like talking, my friends, oooh, my friends. My friend Juan couldn't take it anymore, he said: Grandma, your food is so delicious it's going to make me explode. Well, I'll treat you, my friend, to the rice with rice that my grandmother knows how to cook. I'm sure you won't regret it, because there's nothing like it.

I wanted to talk about this sweet because I think it's a very good sweet to enjoy with the family. It's a very homemade sweet and very special to me. That's why I decided to talk about this sweet.

We don't really fit in here, do we? You probably know what it's like to recoil every time we are asked to try something new. Our standards are high and specific, which not many understand. It's not about it just being edible. We first need to be convinced it looks good enough to even want to try, it if smells good or if it has a weird smell you don't want anywhere near your mouth, study the texture of the dish, and then you finally taste it. Though it depends, it could be perfect and be added to your rotation, or it can be disgusting and you will banish it to the "never again, why do i even try?" pile. Not to mention, it could have failed your previous evaluations and be banned before you even get that first taste. I can relate.

Being picky is a struggle. You only ever juggle between the foods you have deemed safe and good. Trying something new is a pain and being out of a favorite food makes you want to cry. We're the ones who always had to bring a lunchbox to school, because there was barely any chance if any that we would eat what the school served. Don't worry, you're safe here. I know what it's like to be one of us. Don't be pressured to have the same likes as the rest, we can live in our own picky little bubble. Now tell me picky eaters, what's your favorite food?

Everyone has had that feeling at least once, that one dish greeting you after a long day of school or work bringing a smile to your face, in this article I want to share mine, my dishes that gave me that feeling.

I want to start with my number one favorite, Spaghetti, or just any type of Pasta. Pasta has been that special dish to me for years, what makes it special for me is the simplicity yet versatility it brings, there's many ways to cook Pasta, the usual ground beef and tomato sauce Pasta, Chicken Alfredo or Shrimp Alfredo, and each way feels different from one another. The usual Pasta + Ground beef and tomato sauce is simple, easy to make, and its taste that type of taste that you hardly get bored of. Chicken Alfredo and Shrimp Alfredo are mostly opposite to the former, it's a dish that you only get once in a while, it has a more literal sense of a "special" food, it's elegant in presentation and it is harder to make, but the taste of it is something that stays embedded in your mind for a while, the type of taste that once you have it you want to get more of, it is indeed a delicacy.

Fried rice and chicken, this is, without a doubt, THE dish, and what I believe makes it special is that sense of familiarity it gives, it is a dish that could remind you of anyone, your mom, your aunt, your grandma, your dad, any member in your family, and the simplicity of the dish helps out with that feeling, when you're with your family the feeling you get is a sense of peace, a sense of belonging, for most people at least, those are the same feelings eating rice and fried chicken give, peace, belonging, familiarity, can almost be catalogued as soothing, ok maybe not belonging but you get it... it is a dish that everyone can make, everyone can enjoy, and mostly it is a dish that has a connection to everyone, and that's what makes it special, that sense of familiarity and that sense of connection.

The foods I listed here are mostly pretty simple and foods that everyone has had at least once, but it doesn't necessarily have to be simple dishes or everyday foods for you, it can be more complex dishes or just about... anything! Your favorite food can be anything, what makes it special to you can be anything, just make sure to enjoy it, enjoy every time that you get home and you feel that sense of connection, that sense of familiarity and peace when your mother prepares you your favorite food, it is one of the best feelings one can experience.

The first, place I'm recommending is a pizza place called Eleventh Street Pizza. Now this pizza place isn't like any pizza place you've been to, because the pizza is just unlike anything pizza you've ever tried or even imagined before. From the sauce to the cheese to bread, this whole pizza taste and creation is just out of this world, the sauce is so good and sweet, the cheese is the most incredible cheese you'll ever taste, it's so good and cheesy, and them the bread just brings the whole thing together. If you wanna try some good pizza, then head to Eleventh Street Pizza in either Downtown Miami or in Pinecrest.

The next place I'm recommending is a burger place called Five Guys. And while there's a ton of these places and most of you guys have probably tried a burger from here, I just can't go on without talking about how good these burgers actually are! Just patty of the burger alone is already so good, but then you add some vegetables, the buns, and last but not least, those awesome sauces, and you've got one heck of a creation! The patty is so good and tender and juicy, the buns are so smooth and fluffy and perfect, and those vegetables are so good and juicy and fresh and tasty, and the sauce just completes it all with it's incredible taste and flavor. So if looking to try a good burger, then head down to a local Five Guys today!

The last but very not least place I'm going to be recommending to you guys is actually not a food place, it's actually a dessert place called Wal's Ice Cream. This place is one of the coolest if not, maybe even the coolest place to grab a dessert at! This place has incredible ice cream and milkshakes to choose from, and you can literally get any ice cream flavor as a milkshake too! And these milkshakes are without a doubt my favorite milkshakes ever, because these milkshakes and handcrafted and made right in front of you, and they're also so good and creamy and flavorful. And the ice cream is so good and delicious and creamy and flavorful too. And not only do they have sweet treats, they even have sweet outdoor games too! Yes, you heard, this place even has cool outdoor games for you and your friends and your family too, with many fun game options to choose from, so while you're getting and eating a sweet treat, you can be playing some fun outdoor games too!

So if you're looking and searching for some cool and fun and good places to eat and have fun at, then grab a slice of pizza at Eleventh Street Pizza, or good a really good burger at Five Guys, or if you're looking for a really good sweet treat and maybe even more fun, then head down to Wal's Ice Cream in Pinecrest. One of my food ideas is a tequeno, which the hot dogs make by splitting the tequeno in half and adding the sausage and all the ingredients.

Another idea I have that I'd like to try someday is pizza with Nutella. It's something invented by people who put Nutella on it instead of pasta sauce. It sounds delicious, but I have to try it.

Planning. The dreaded text. The blueprint of your work. I get it; we hate it. Why would I sit down, & take the time to plan when my mind is rushing a million miles an hour; my work just wants to pry it's way out of the alcove of my brain, & into the page. It an unnecessary extra step that only takes time away from my beautiful work. Yes, & no.

Planning is an extra step; I won't lie to you. It just might not be as unnecessary as you may think. Planning might be the perfect next step. I'm not saying everyone should be planning their art, or that you even need to plan. Everyone's creative process is different. Some individuals process flows never-ending like an expansive ocean. The tides come in & out; the art never drying up. Other's process is one of a sunny sky, & as soon as a storm makes it's way into view; the art takes a darker turn or none at all. Some people's process is one of a starry night; the night dictates the flow of the writing, & when the sun comes up your art hides away from the bright light.

Art is subjective to the individual. For people like me, your art takes the form of a dandelion. The fluffy white seeds clumped into a sweet little cotton ball forming your idea, but when the wind blows, the seeds are disrupted, & released into the non-conforming world. You rush after the them trying to get them back; there's only so far you can chase after them until they are lost to time. This is why it's beneficial for us to plan.

The second the dandelion grows, you get your art onto a page. You document each piece so that nothing can escape. You organize your art; allow it to branch out, & expand. Soon enough you'll notice you've detailed your plan, so when the wind finally blows... there's nothing to blow. You've planted those seeds in the ground, making sure they take root, & grow. When you revisit the site of your inspiration, you'll find a small garden awaiting water to fully blossom into the creative masterpiece you've imagined. Then you sit, taking care of the garden. You water it, & check the soil. You come back, & make sure to watch it grow. This way when inspiration strikes again, you'll find a field of dandelions, & a completed work.

Everyone is different. Everyone is unique. Everyone has the ability to be creative. Everyone can be an artist; as long as you chose it, put your mind to it, & finally allow yourself to fly. So what's stopping you from becoming who you want to be? A false narrative of perfection, or a fear of failure? Maybe you've let the dandelion drift away without seeing their potential. Your art doesn't need to be perfect, it doesn't even need to be good. As long as you want it, you can plant a garden & let your creativity run wild like the weeds.

Stop over-analyzing. Stop waiting for a sign. Just do it, & make use of your time.

FC Barcelona: Since I was little, I've always liked the way Barcelona plays. For me, Leonel Messi is the best player in the history of soccer. He and Barcelona were a perfect match. Messi made me fall in love with this sport because of his style of play and who he is as a person. Never in my life have I seen a better player than Leo Messi. Barcelona is a very historic club. It has won 5 Champions League titles, 27 Spanish League titles, etc. Messi, along with Barcelona, ​​won 5 Champions League titles, 12 League titles, and many team titles. I hope someone can see Barcelona play like they can with Messi.

Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund is one of the best clubs in Germany. They've had very good players. Good ones like Haaland, Lewandowsi, Aubameyang, Marco Reus, Jube Bellingham, among others, have won several Champions League titles, etc.

I would like to have my own soccer club and be able to have my own players. That's my biggest dream, and one day I'll make it come true.

The Miami-Dade Public Library came on Friday, 9/19/25. They gave us cards that we can use to borrow books, watch movies, and provide free tutoring. They also offer free music. It was a truly wonderful experience. When the "book mobile" staff arrived, we enthusiastically went out to sign up and, overcome with emotion, took books to read at home. We explored, met not only new people but also learned about our intellectual selves, the feeling of discovering our literary sense. Personally, we can say it was very exciting and engaging, as it encouraged us to continue fighting for our love of literature and to write our own works, novels, movie scripts, and in our case, Urban Legends, among other things we also want to do. We are grateful for the support we received from the library and from our Doral Park school.

A few days ago, many people from the small and beautiful town of San Juan de los Yeras, in Villa Clara, Cuba, suffered a very sad and serious accident. They are simple, hardworking, very loving people... like our grandparents, our neighbors, our friends. Today they are going through very difficult times, and from our school we want to send them a huge hug full of love and hope and make a donation for their speedy recovery

They have lost almost everything.

Some are in the hospital recovering, others are at home without the necessities to live. But what they need most now is to know that they are not alone, that there are people like you who want to help them.

How can you help? With things you have at home that can make someone smile:

- Comfortable clothes or pajamas

- Letters, messages of encouragement

- Soap, toothpaste, wipes to maintain hygiene

1. Starting off with some nasty riffs and vocals we got "Theory of Mind" by Khublai Khan TX. If you like loud vocals, heavy riffs, and gut wrenching breakdowns, this is a band you should check out.

2. A classic Early 2000s "Emo" band that most may recognize by the name; "Skylines and Turnstiles" by My Chemical Romance! Originally the band vocalist, Gerard Way, created the band during the aftermath of 9/11 because they wanted to bring awareness to the tragic events. They grew so much that the creators of "Twilight" and "50 Shades of Gray" were inspired to create the now famous book/movie series. This band is definitely on my top 5 favorite bands due to their heavy positive impact on the evergrowing metal community.

3. Up next is, "Spellbound" by Siouxsie and The Banshees!!! Known for their gothic music, they are an amazing band to start your journey into the goth fashion and subgenre! This wonderful band has influenced "baby bats" (People who are getting into goth) to express their style without a care of how others feel about it. I say this with personal experience, I used to be dead afraid to go outside in my full goth attire, but after meeting many people in the goth community, I walk in my all black flowing dress and corpse paint with pride.

4. Last but certainly not least, "The Red" by Chevelle, is by far one of my most played songs and their band has created so many great hits it's definitely a band worth checking out.

5. Now, I know some might agree this is an absolutely outstanding band

   -DRUMROLL PLEASE!- "Bat Country" by A7X (aka. Avenged Sevenfold)!!! This band has touched many people's hearts, and have stippled in different sub-genres, two of which are nu-metal and progressive metal. This band is certainly one of the classics but definitely worth sharing.

1. Beginning with one of my personal favorites, "Kiss me til my lips fall off" by Lebanon Hanover. This is a nice mellow song which gives off a bit of vampire goth vibes. Note that not many people enjoy their vocals due to their monotone voice, but personally, I love it!

2. Up next we got, "Join Me In Death" by HIM! Yes you read that correctly, HIM! Known for his many love/heartbreak songs, HIM incorporates a lot of yearning and heartfelt lyrics. If you are a hopeless romantic or simply in deep love with your partner, check out this guy!

3. Now, I mentioned this band in the last post however, I believe they deserve a second mention, "Cities in Dust" by Siouxie and The Banshees! I can't express enough how much I love this band. As a former baby bat (person who is new to goth) I can say this band was an amazing introduction to the goth style, fashion, and sub-genre.

4. This next one was another very stunning band, that really widened my horizon. Introducing- "Temple of Love" by The Sisters of Mercy!! Some may believe that goth=demon worshiping but that's not true at all!! Goth is a short term to summarize the UMBRELLA of different styles, genre's, and fashion that falls under it!(I can go on a whole rant explaining goth but I'll leave that for another future post heh...)

5. To end of today's list of recommendations, I saved my top favorite for last, that being -DRUM ROLL PLEASE- "Out of Control" by She wants Revenge!!! This band has been by far my #1 favorite disco goth band. I can't give goth recommendations without sharing this diamond of a band.

—Sí, abuelo, cuéntenos —repitieron, rodeándolo como si fuera un fuego.

El viejo se sentó en su taburete, escupió al suelo, se acomodó el sombrero, encendió la fogata y así comenzó:

— Era una madrugada nublada.

Nublada como nunca.

El cielo parecía hecho de ceniza y humo.

—Me levanté temprano, como siempre, y fui a ver los animales como cada mañana.

Pero para mi sorpresa...no había ninguno.

Se habían ido todos los animales del corral.

Las huellas marcaban camino hacia el monte, pero no eran huellas normales.

Parecían torcidas, como si los animales no caminaran… sino huyeran.

Me puse el sombrero, las botas, el tabaco y agarré el machete, y me adentré en la neblina...

A medida que entraba, el bosque se hacía más oscuro, más espeso, más raro. Como si otro universo me llamara, uno oscuro.

Los árboles no se movían, pero sus ramas parecían mirar mis pasos lentos.

Y entonces escuché risas.

Risas de hombres.

Risas que no sabían reír.

Me acerqué lentamente y sin hacer ruido, entonces los vi.

Eran tres, cubiertos con capuchas negras.

Tenían cuchillos, sacos, cuerdas largas, y lo que más me molestó fue que tenian mis animales en cautiverio.

—¡Vamos a matar los animales ya! —Decía uno..

—¡Si, Matémoslos y vámonos a beber! —decía otro.

Yo, irritado, quise gritarles, quise ir a pelear con ellos. A retomar mis animales.

Pero algo rompió la neblina de la madrugada.

Una risa. Una risa peculiar.

Pequeña, aguda, tenebrosa. De esas risas que molestan, de esas que dan terror.

Una risa que no venía de boca, sino del monte mismo.

Una risa que se metió en mis huesos como frío de tumba.

De pronto, algo diminuto saltó desde la rama de un árbol.

No alcancé a distinguirlo, pero escuché su risa: una carcajada malévola, de esas que hielan la sangre, como la risa de una bruja escondida en la oscuridad.

Yo quedé paralizado, en shock, tratando de descubrir qué era aquella presencia. Sin embargo, lo único que mis ojos alcanzaron a ver fue sangre...

Los hombres gritaron muchísimo, como grita una gallina cuando la van a matar.

Uno corrió despavorido, otro no paraba de gritar, y el tercero… se escondió llorando.

Su cabeza salió rodando como fruta caída.

Yo también corrí.

Corrí como nunca, con aquel frío carcomiendo mis huesos.

Pero esa risa seguía detrás de mí, como si me respirara en la nuca.

Saltaba de árbol en árbol, de rama en rama, con su risa maquiavélica.

Tan rápido salí y corrí que sin ver tropecé.

Me caí.

Me raspé todo, brazos, manos; incluso hasta perdí un diente.

Y al levantar la vista… lo vi. Ahí estaba.

Una figura de niño.

Pero no era un niño.

Tenía orejas largas, la boca torcida, manos y pies que no eran de humanos.

Sus uñas eran cuchillos oxidados.

El cuerpo, cubierto de pelo completamente. Sus ojos, como carbones encendidos.

Grité lo más que pude, pedí auxilio, pero el bosque y el río se tragaron mis lamentos.

—De pronto, sentí un dolor desesperante en la espalda, como si me rasgaran la piel con garras.

El abuelo Juan levantó la mirada hacia el horizonte oscuro, tan oscuro que presintió que algo ocurriría. El viento soplaba tan fuerte que apagó la fogata, y un escalofrío le recorrió nuevamente la espalda.

—¡Abuelo, sigue contando! —pidió un niño, con los ojos brillantes de curiosidad.

—No quiero —dijo otro, encogido de hombros—. Esta historia parece aburrida y absurda.

—¡Pero nosotros queremos escuchar! —insistieron los demás, agarrando sus manos y mirando al fuego.

El abuelo Juan suspiró, frotándose las manos para entrar en calor.

—Está bien… pero escuchen bien, porque no lo voy a repetir y quiero que duerman.

Después que me desmayé del miedo, desperté. Pero no en el monte,

¡estaba en mi cama!

¡Los animales estaban en el corral!

¡Mi espalda estaba sana!

¡Y mi mente más confundida aun!

Pero cada 8 de agosto…

mi espalda se enciende en sangre.

Sin explicación.

Solo me arde, como si mi cuerpo se quemara por completo.

Sin razón.

No sé si fue real.

No sé si fue sueño.

Pero de que lo vi… lo vi.

Nadie me creyó, todos me llamaron loco.

Y aquellos que osaron creerme me dijeron que la única criatura que habita en estos lugares es el “Güije”. Un duende pequeño y travieso que no le gusta para que lo molesten...

1. Starting off with one of my favorites, "Concerto Grosso in G minor, Op. 6 No. 6" by George Frideric Hande. Each instrument played with a soft flowing tone, with each note coming straight from the soul of the musicians. I believe this piece is worth the listen.

2. "Romance No. 2 in F major, Op.50", where Isaac Stern Plays Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, is absolutely ethereal. It is genuinely so astonishing to listen to a man recreate music from decades ago and bring it the light it deserves by performing it with so much love and soul.

3. Up next is, "Trio Sonata for organ No. 6 in G major, BWV 530: 2nd movement" performed by Simon Preston, originally composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. The piece really reminds me of something you'd hear in the ambience in a medieval game with the wind instruments. Nonetheless, this stays on my top 3 favorite music compositions.

4. Last but not least, I bring to you, "Clair de Lune, L. 75, No.3" performed by Lang Lang. Love, yearning, heartache, and sorrow are all the many feelings you may experience while listening to this iconic piece.

5. Now to end off today's list I obviously want to mention a piece that has been held close to my heart for years, "Siciliano (violin and piano sonata no. 4)" composed by James Galway! This piece brings me eternal peace, and brings comfort on a personal and emotional level. This musician does not get enough recognition, so please give his music a listen!

Sometimes I relate to little women mainly with Jo March of the fear of fully excepting a relationship and ye'r old fear of losing independence and my self in the progress of things , I usually relate myself in the sense of " I care more to be loved than to love" -Jo March , reflecting of the sentimental way of my identity and insecurities for love and the longing for thee connection but hesitant to fully embrace the idea of loving someone, as it requires opening up emotionally and letting that side basically escape (honestly throw it out the window baisically).

Legacy of empowerment

But at the same time of these relations of going against the expectations our society placed upon women . In the same relation or mindset of Jo March I believe that the roles of a mother or "house wife" does not align of the full potential of a person just because of there gender or grow up to teach young women all your options are tied to marry in wealth or desire and stay home to raise women in solemnly "peace" as setting the expectations of any other things out of the "norm" and "out spoken nature" all though it doesn't mean not every one wants but the wants that but more in the nature of "recognizing the value's of different roles" . As Jo's action get seen by many she shows empowerment of through showing the options of things as in her actions when she shows rejection of the traditional housewife role doesn't denounce is but rather speak of it that women should have freedom to choose and respect for people's individual choice's . As freedom is a strong word in ways its as in more shes seen as empowering women to pursue their interests whether in your own home or the workplace.

In the sense of this topic in this film and book the journey of Jo understanding to this topic starts one of her sisters meg and has an initial judgement stems off from her fear that it will limit her sister's independence, reflecting her struggle with traditional gender roles. 1. Up first, is my personal favorite, "Rabid" by Mortician. Even though it's a short song, it's disgusting and viseral riffs and breakdowns, this song is BOUND to make you swing your arms and headbang.

2. "Dead To Me" by Immolation, is by far one of my favorite songs to recommend to any young metal fans who are getting into heavier metal. I suggest checking this band out if you like good death growls.

3. Picking up the tempo, "Cyanide Assassin" by MY #1 FAVORITE DEATHMETAL BAND Cannibal Corpse! This band has and always will have a place in my heart.

4. Last but not least, "When All is Said and Done" by Napalm Death. Words cannot describe how stunning the vocals and riffs are. First ever day checking them out, brought a tear to my eye.

5. By now you should know the drill, "Shape-Shifting" by Vader!!! Genuine astonishment is all I could express my reaction to this band. The fast double kicks and SCRUMPTIOUS VOCALS, I absolutely ADORE this band.

3. For a nice throw back, I'd like to mention "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton. I know any teachers reading this may be cheering at the fact I brought her up. You're welcome!!

4. To pick up the pace, here's a fast up-beat song, "The Crawdad Song" by The Meat Purveyors. I can imagine a group of buddies on a long road trip, sitting in the back of a truck singing together.

5. I love to leave the best for last, many oldies fans may recognize this wonderful man. "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" by Willie Nelson, a gorgeous mellow song. Leave my heart with a yearning feeling for a long lost love. Heck, this song really has a way of swaying your emotions.

1. "Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys, will surely get you skipping and bopping your head to the beat while the beastie boys lay down bars.

2. She's still going hard til this day, "Lose Control" by Missy Elliot feat. Ciara and Fatman Scoop. I saw her live in the Hard Rock stadium and I can vouch, SHE IS THAT GOOD.

3. This next song is gonna get you kicking your feet and hitting little jigs. "Hey ya!" by The Outkasts, has as amazing way of getting you on your feet even on a rough morning.

4. "Cherchez Laghost" by Ghostface Killah feat. U-God & Madam Majestic, is a true childhood song my brother would play through the radio whenever he was given the aux chord. So this song gives me nostalgia in that sense.

5. Like usual, gotta save the best for last, "Check Yo Self", by Ice Cube feat. Das EFX. Ice Cube always had a song that'd get me in a good mood. This song was one of them.

1. "Child's Song", by Tom Rush is a very old childhood song my dad sang to me once. I miss those days, and I wish it wasn't short-lived.

2. This song sets a longing mood, reminds me of the winter time when flowers die and shrivel up. "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" by The Kingston Trio. Beautiful group. Wonderful voices.

3. "Blackbird" by The Beatles, a song I know on the guitar, has to be my favorite folk song. I hope it brings you comfort as much as it does with me.

4. Last but not least, "I'm Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes" by Ralph Stanley. This song reminds me just how good folk is. One way or another I always find myself coming back to Folk songs.

5. This next guy sounds a lot like Willie Nelson, so if you're a big fan of Nelson's music check out ,"I Won't Be Far from Here" by The Charlie Sizemore Band. This band gives me a similar calming feel as Willie Nelson's music does.

it was the middle of the night and I suddenly dreamt with mami again. it was weird because it was my 2nd time this week she visited me in my dreams. In this particular dream we were sitting somewhere i remember it being a blue chair and making eye contact with her. I've always been big on eye contact i was taught since i was young its the biggest form of respect with out having to speak. I remember being so familiarized with where i was. The dirty blond shoulder length hair , her tan round face that i inherited from her, her beautiful cheeky smile and how her cheeks would blush and bounce right up each time. Her hands I'm not 100% sure but they were on her face as if her hand was resting on her face softly holding her head up. and of course her beautiful almond shaped brown sunlit eyes, her gorgeous natural long lashes that i also inherited from her. I remember having just a regular conversation with her I sadly don't remember what i was about. mami was sitting in the blue chair and as i looked into her eyes the only thing i felt was love. I've never felt so much love in my life it was such a overwhelming feeling of love that i felt like i might've exploded but overwhelming in the most beautiful way possible. i felt her again. i felt my mami again. a feeling i once lusted to feel again. a feeling that only a mother can fill. a warmth that no one else could give me. a light that always took me out the dark. Its been 10 months since ive felt her love and warmth again I'd almost forgotten what it was like to hug her and love her again. I told her " i love you mami" she responded with " I love you so much , I miss you so much , im so proud of you." as i listened and stared into her beautiful eyes she repeated this whilst the overwhelming feeling of love got strong and stronger. I than woke up with my legs and the back of my neck humid from sweat. i felt her. i knew she was there. i was still half asleep as i had suddenly just woke up out of that dream i felt something watching me so i flipped to my side and I remember nagging my dog and her laying right next to me. as i went back to sleep i felt a strong urge not forget the dream as Irepeatdly said do not forget as i fell asleep. as i closed my eyes again i felt scared that someone was watching me although i felt someone/thing watching me i knew it was her. i made sure to remember that feeling of seeing her once again. feeling her once again, feeling the love of her again , remembering how much she loved me cared for me and protected me and continues to make sure to let me know she is with me and is protecting me 10x more than when she was physically here. this dream was a reminder that she's still got my back and that she will always be with me and will always remind me how much she really loves me. as i remember her every single day in sudden slight thoughts i remember who she was and what she went through for me. most importantly i remembered how much she loved me. ive been craving to feel her love again for so long , to feel her warmth to hear her to see her to even have a conversation with her i felt her protecting me not only was she letting me know she's always protecting me and loves me. She's reminding me that i really am not alone and every thing i do is in honor of her name. I love you mom. and i miss you. thank you for the beautiful visit and may the lord allow you to rest in peace. <3

Classifying an Instrument can be determined on how you even play the instrument. Mainly done by three ways, hitting something, plucking or bowing a string, or using a mouth piece. A mouth piece is a part of an instrument that you put your mouth on and blow into. Instruments that use mouth pieces are known as Wind Instruments, and Winds comprise of Brass and Woodwind Instruments. If you use an instrument by hitting it its called a Percussion Instrument, and they are mainly divided into Pitched (pianos, marimbas, vibraphones) and Unpitched (Bass drums, snares, quads, cymbals, and drum sets). And finally string instruments, Bowed strings are strings you use a bow, that funny thing you use on a violin, to bow an instrument. Cello's, Double Basses, Violins, and Violas are all Bowed Strings. And finally the Plucked Strings. Guitars, bass guitars, and a lot, lot of folk instruments both western and eastern. Very common instrument.

But we can go even further, lets look back at the Winds. There are three main types of Wind mouthpieces, and thus three main families. Brass Mouthpieces are created through a buzzing of the lips. Reed mouthpieces create sound through the vibration of the "reed" a small plank of wood rather than your lips. Reed mouthpieces come in many different flavors and shapes, Single reed, Double reed being the two most popular type of reed shape. And Triple and Quadruple reed being much rarer and more common to find in places like Southeast Asia. And a flute mouthpiece is pretty much anything else. Both flute and reed instruments are considered Woodwinds despite the fact there is not one atom of Wood in any modern concert Flute.

The shaping of any instrument is also radically important. Wind instruments have something known as a "bore shape" either having a Conical bore, a type of tubing that slowly gets bigger until it reaches the bell, and a Cylindrical bore, a type of tubing that stays the same shape until it reaches the bore. Lets take an example. A Soprano Saxophone and a Soprano Clarinet look very similar pardoning one thing, one is made up of brass and the other wood! To the outside looking in the difference between the two might be there material, after all its the trait that seperates them the most, but its not! Its the bore shape, Clarinets made out of brass and Saxes made of wood do exist! Saxophones have a Conical bore and the Clarinets have a Cylindrical one.

But that one thing, "Soprano Sax" what does Soprano mean? And that's where we get to our last detail, the size of an instrument! The size of an instrument impacts its sound through the pitch. The bigger an instrument is, IE the longer it is, the more time the air gets from the mouthpiece to the bell, the lower in pitch it becomes. In fact thats what valves and keys (the button you see on an instrument) do! And nowhere is this better to show than the trombone, its unusual slide will decrease the pitch the further you move it away from your mouth. A Trombone is actually a Cylindrical instrument, so a Soprano Trombone and Trumpet, both Soprano instruments play the same note it will sound the same, except the Soprano Trombone is better because it can Glissando while the Trumpet can't. But an Alto Trombone wont sound the same as a French Horn, both Alto instruments because the Horn is a Conical instrument. They make the time the air gets from the mouthpiece to the bell shorter (making the pitch higher) or longer (making the pitch lower). Instruments can be divided into a bunch of different pitches. From lowest to higher, Subcontrabass, Contrabass, Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Alto, Mezzo Soprano, Soprano, Sopranissimo, Soprillio. The bottom and top 2 are pretty much never used in actual music and just exist because people wanted to cover all 9 octaves on a 108 key Piano.

And so using all of this you cant understand how different instruments, understand music theory is needed and essential if you ever want to make music. Remember, music is amazing, and I absolutely believe you should get into music as well!

1. Starting with a personal favorite, "Weaver of Dreams" by Kenny Burrell. Kenny never fails to put me at ease on a chaotic Monday morning. I bet their music can bring some positive energy into your day.

2. Up next, we've gotta mention this wonderful man, with a voice so powerful, and music so full of soul, "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" by Frank Sinatra. Should there be more to say? I mean, could there be a word in the dictionary that could really express the feeling this music makes me feel?

3. This next one reminds me of something i'd only hear in a Fairy tale movie. "Three Rings" by Carol Robbins, such a gem I wish more people knew about her music. If you like more musical less songy music, check her out. She doesn't need lyrics to tell a story.

4. "The End of a Love Affair" by Wynton Marsalis another wordless story, full of emotion. Each note played, full of pain, and heart break. One of the reasons why I love jazz so much.

5. When I first listened to this man, I thought he was singing or humming along, but in was all just his trombone! "Misty" by Steve Turre, it's crazy how you could make such melodies with a trombone. You could really feel the mood he so strongly tries to play.

Before Spain was united under a single kingdom, the territory was divided into several separate kingdoms, such as Castile, Aragon,Navarre, and Granada. Everything changed when Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon married in 1465. With their marriage, they managed to unite a large part of the peninsula and form the basis of the Kingdoms of Spain. They are known as the Catholic Monarchs. During their reign, the Reconquista was complete with the capture of Granada in 1492.

"The Voyage of Christopher Columbus"

In 1492, Christopher Columbus, a Genoese navigator, proposed reaching Asia by sailing west. The Catholic Monarchs, Isabelle of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon, agrred to support him and gave him money, ships and crew. Columbus set sail with three ships: the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria, along with Spanish sailors in search of new routes and riches. After more than two months of sailing, they reached America on October 12, 1492, although Columbus believed he had reached the Indies.

"The Conquest of America"

After Christopher Columbus voyage, many Spaniards traveled to the Americas in search of riches, land, and power. Thus began the Conquest of America, a process in which the Spanish explored and dominated large indigenous empires.

Among the most important conquistadors were:

Hernan Cortes, who conquered the Aztec Empire in what is now Mexico. He did so by alling himself with some indigenous peoples who were enemies of the Aztecs. After several battles, he took the city of Tenochtitlan in 1521.

Francisco Pizarro, who conquered the Inca Empire in present-day Peru. He took advantage of an internal war between the brothers Atahualpa and Huascar and captured Atahualpa in 1532, taking control of the empire.

Juan Ponce de Leon, who explored Florida, and Vasco Nunez de Balboa, who crossed the Isthmus of Panama.

The conquistadors were not alone. They were supported by soldiers, sailors, religious leaders, and allied indigenous peoples who severed as guides or warriors. The Catholic Monarchs and later the kings of the House of Austria also sent money, weapons, and permits for the expeditions.

The conquest was carried out gradually, with battles, alliances, diseases, and new weapons, such as horses, cannons, and steel swords, which the American peoples were unfamiliar with.

"The Organization of the Viceroyalties and Religious Work in America"

After the conquests, Spain organized its new territories in the Americas by creating viceroyalties, which were large regions governed in the name of the king. The first was the Viceroyalty of New Spain(in Mexico and Central America) and the second was the Viceroyalty of Pery. Over time, more vicerotalties were created. Each viceroyalty was governed by a viceroy, who represented the King of Spain and was responsible for enforcing the laws, maintaining order, and collecting taxes.

During this time, many religious orders, such as the Jesuits, arrived in America. The Jesuits played a very important role: they founded schools, universities, and missions to educate and evangelize the indigenous people.

The Holy Inquisition was also established, an instituion that everyone followed the Catholic religion and punished those considered heretics or those who practiced other beliefs.

A very important figure was Bartolome de las Casas, a Spanish friar, priest, and bishop who lived in the Americas and witnessed the abuses suffered by indigenous peoples. He wrote several texts denouncing the violence of some conquistadors and defending the rights of indigenous people. Thanks to his struggle, the King of Spain ordered laws to protect indigenous people, although they were not always enforced.

Queen Isabella the Catholic also made it clear in her decrees that indigenous people were "children of God" and should be treated with respect and justice. She prohibited their enslavement.

During the viceroyalties, great architectural works were built: cathedrals, churches, palaces. universities, and roads. Cities like Lima, Mexico City, Quito, and Bogota grew significantly and became centers of culture and trade. Thanks to these cosntructions and the intermingling of Spanish and indigenous peoples, a new culture emerged that combined traditions from both sides.

The Black Legend arose because Spain, during the 16th and 17th centuries, was the most powerful country in the world. Its was empire stretched across America, Europe, and Asia. This aroused envy and fear in other European countries.

Furthermore, there was a great religious divide: Spain defended Catholicism, while countries like England, Holland, and parts of Germany had become Protestant. This led to conflicts between them and parts of Germany had become Protestant. This led to conflicts between them and caused many to begin to view Spain as their enemy. There were also political and economic reasons, because Spain controlled the trade routes and obtained wealth from the New World, something that other contries wanted to achieve.

"Enemy Between Spain and Other Countries"

The enmity began with wars and relgious and political rivalries.

Spain had conflicts with England when Queen Elizabeth I supported English pirates attacking Spanish ships and later defeated the Spanish Armada in 1588.

With the Netherlands conflicts arose because they wanted to become independent from the Spanish Empire and abandon Catholicism.

With France, there wars for control of Territories in Europe.

"Who Spread the Black Legend"

The main countries that spread the Black Legend were England, the Netherlands, and France. Among the most well-known people who helped spread it were:

Bartolome de la Casas, who wrote about the abuses committed in the Americas. Although his intentions were to defend the indigenous people, his writings were used by Spain's enemies to exaggerate the facts.

John Foxe and Richard Hakluyt in England published works portraying Spain as a cruel empire.

William of Orange, leader of the Netherlands, also wrote pamphlets accusing Philip second of being a tyrant.

The Role of Charles first and Philip second

The origin of the Black Legend is also closely linked to King Charles first and Philip second.

Charles first(also known as Charles fifth of the Holy Roman Empire) ruled one of the largest empires in history. His power generated fear in Europe because he controlled Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and America. Many countries began to hate his rule.

His son, Philip second, was even more adamant in defending Catholicism. He fought against Protestans in Europe and was the main rival of Queen Elizabeth first of England. Under his rule, religious wars and the defeat of the Spanish Armada ocurred, which increased resentment and propaganda against Spain.

"Historians Views of the Black Legend"

Some Spanish authors, such as Julian Juderias, were the first to study the Black Legend and asserted that many of the criticisms of Spain made great contributions, such as the founding of cities and universities.

Other historians, such as Menendez Pelayo and Menendez Pidal, pointed out that Spain's history had been unfairly portrayed by foreigners and defended its cultural and religious contributions.

Even the British historian Henry Kamen acknowledge that the image of Spain was exaggeratedly negative, as all empires committed abuses, but only Spain was judged so harsly for its power and its Catolic faith.

What is Samhain?

This, as such, was a Celtic festival, which was an Indo-European people originally from Central Europe who settled in places like Gaul and British Isles. Samhain marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the new year. For the Celtic people, on the night of October 31st, the line between the world of the living and the dead blurred, allowing spirits to pass from one world to the other. Many believed they roamed the surrounding lands, and to avoid encounters with evil spirits, people drssed up in costumes, wondering what an evil spirit would look like and scaring them away. This is similar to what is done today.

Roman Influence

Many people believed that Halloween originated in the United States, but it's actually quite different. All Hallows' Eve is a very old tradition celebrated in Europe, although it wasnt calles Halloween. Ultimately, Halloween is more than a holiday of Celtic origin with different adaptations over time; it's a holiday for everyone.

Over the years, a debate has arisen about whether Spain should apologize to Latin American countries for the conquest and colonization of the continent. However, many historians, thinkers, and citizens argue that Spain should not apologize to anyone, and below I will present my main arguments supporting this position.

First, past events cannot be judged by present-day values. In the 15th and 16th centuries, conquest and territorial expansion were common practices among the great powers of the time. While Spain was the world's leading power, it also competed with countries like Portugal, England, and France. Spain acted within a historical context where exploration, evangelization, and expansion were seen as symbols of power and progress. Analyzing these events with a modern mindset would be a flawed perspective.

Furthermore, during the more than three centuries of Spanish presence in America, significant cultural, educational, and social advancements took place. Spain introduced its language, religion, laws, and architecture, which we see reflected today in countries like Mexico, Peru, Cuba, and others. Instead of conquering and leaving, Spain built universities, hospitals, and cities that still exist today. Although there were abuses and conflicts, there were also exchanges and brutal deaths. It was a society in which the rich were more important than the poor (something that hasn't changed today). There were also mixtures of Spaniards with Indigenous women and Indigenous women with Spaniards, which gave rise to a new mestizo identity, the foundation of the current Latin American nations.

On the other hand, one cannot speak of a planned genocide. While millions of Indigenous people died, a large part of those deaths were due to diseases unintentionally brought from Europe and to wars between different groups, some of which allied themselves with the Spaniards to fight against their own people. The main intention of the Spanish monarchy was to conquer, evangelize, and govern, not to exterminate.

It's also important to emphasize that current generations are not responsible for the actions of the past. Spaniards today didn't conquer America, just as Latin Americans today didn't live through colonial times. Bearing historical guilt doesn't help build a shared future based on respect and cooperation.

Finally, many argue that apologizing would mean denying an essential part of our shared history. From that mixing emerged a new culture, a wonderful language that boasts being the fourth most spoken language in the world and the second most spoken language globally by native speakers. They gave us an identity that unites millions of people on both sides of the Atlantic.

5. FIFA: such an incredible game every year, with such awesome game modes it's always fun to play with others. this is one of the best games ever for sure.

6. Forza: this car game is so awesome and cool every time I play it, and I've been playing it for years now! from the cars to the game modes to just the game itself, everything is always just so fire.

7. Clash Royale: I've played this game for years and man let me tell something, it just doesn't get old. this game is always fun every time I play it, and whether I play with others or I play by myself, this game never disappoints.

8. Fortnite: this game right here might be my favorite game to be honest. it might've been the greatest the ever back then, but in my opinion, it's still fire today. every single new season that comes out never disappoints, weapons and items are always so cool, and the game modes are always so cool. everything about this is just fire!

9. Brawl Stars: this game is just heat, never disappoints. the events and game modes, awesome, playing with friends or even by yourself, so much fun, and the characters, so cool!

10. Roblox: such an incredible game to play and one of the best games for sure. the different kinds of games you can are awesome, playing by yourself is kinda fun, but playing with your friends, it's just so much fun. and you can literally customize your own character as well! such an awesome game overall.

LYDIAN

If we start on F we get F Lydian. And how we reach those same intervals with C Major, is by "sharpening" (making one note higher) a note. C Lydian is... C, D, E, F#, G, A, B, C. That fourth note, the F#, is a tritone, an unstable interval. It clashes with the Tonic. It makes the music sound dreamy and bright. Almost too bright, it has a fakish quality to it from time. Like it's too perfect in a way. That's why Lydian is not used much in normal music, its instability and its inhumanity... But it sure is used a lot in orchestral music! That extra bright, magical sound is amazing for music, the best example being "Yoda's Theme" from Star Wars.

IONIAN

The same as your normal Major scale, actually, We start on C! One thing you'll realize is that as we go on, we're making one note "Flatter" (making one note lower) to get a darker sound, and vice versa for Lydian. We Flatten the fourth to get here, so the F# goes back down to a regular F. This mode is super happy. Its the most popular mode in pop music by well... Its just so happy! So lovely and pure, its great for a nice walk at the beach. The best case of this Mode is "Save your Tears" by the Weeknd.

MIXOLYDIAN

Starting on G, I personally prefer to call this mode Messanian rather than Mixolydian for my own reasons, but most professionals will call it Mixolydian. Mixolydian is just the Major scale with a flattened 7th. C Mixolydian is... C, D, E, F, G, A, Bb, C. That lowered B to a Bb makes the music less directional. As the B in Ionian really wants to resolve to the C, but the Bb is just fine staying there, it also adds just a hint of darkness, making the music still cheery and happy but more edgy. A popular example of this mode is "Norwegian Wood" by the Bettle.

DORIAN

We reach the crossroads here, starting on D, Dorian is right in between the Major and Minor Scales, its something else... It sounds dark with a hint of light, or maybe its bright with a flicker of shadow? Who knows! We reach it by flattening the third this time. C, D, Eb, F, G, A, Bb, C. It's magical in feeling, and wonderous in texture. Often shifting between these two feelings. "“Scarborough Fair” by Simon & Garfunkel" is a good example of Dorian.

AEOLIAN

I'm all sad now... your typical natural minor scale, starting on A. We flatten the 6th degree now. C, D, Eb, F, G, Ab, Bb, C. Aeolian is a very sad scale. Its melancholic with some hints of lighting shining through. oscil – “Endless Falls” is a good example of this mode, its depressing yet slightly bright mood prevails. This mode is best described as "sad piano music". Its something you can listen to it in the middle of the storm, contemplating your life choices.

Fear is what describes this monstrosity the most. Starting on E, flattening the second degree now, C, Db, Eb, F, G, Ab, Bb, C. The Phrygian Scale is exotic, dark, and almost scary in a way. Its strained, menacing, and bucket of fear is scattered all through out, any sense of light is gone now, sucked away. A good song to describe the absolute horror of this mode is "Wherever I may roam" by Metalica. Its opening riff really showcase this, middle eastern and dark sounding scale.

LOCRIAN

Starting on B, Locrian is often considered the "unusable Scale" due to its dissonant nature. Its darker than dark, and you get it by lowering the 5th degree. C, Db, Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb, C. Its so dark, so ominous, its completely broken. Barely any music is used with this scale. The only real example of this song is the folk song "Dust to Dust". A song literally about digging graves.

3. "Procuro olvidarte" – Hernando Zúñiga (It tries to forget a love that still hurts at all costs.)

4. "No ha sido fácil" – Pablo Milanés (Loving is sometimes hard, but it's worth it.)

5. "Ay amor" – Ana Gabriel (An intense love that hurts and is passionate.)

6. "Marinero de Luces" – Isabel Pantoja (Nostalgia for a loved one who has passed away.)

7. "Lo quiero a morir" – Ángela Carrasco (A love so strong that you would give everything for that person.)

8. "Quieres ser mi amante" – Camilo Sesto (It's about a secret and hidden love.)

9. "I Want to Know What Love Is" – Foreigner (It wants to know what love is and asks to be told.) teach)

This song teaches you lots about how people think, and observe the world, and it also goes deep in feelings, overall a song that stands out.

Late night drives with this on makes you think about your deepest thoughts, this song is just good to set that thoughtful vibe.

3-Sum 2 prove...(Lil Baby)

A song that really hypes me up, bossy vibe it just rocks overall.

4-Skrilla...(Kodak Black)

Skrilla is top 4 just because is a song you cant play everywhere, but is a top 3 song for turning up parties, and overall hyping up.

5-Chicago freestyle...(Drake)

This song is also good for late night drives, is about reflecting, and talking deep about certain topics.

6-Untouchable...(NBA Youngboy)

Really good song that has that came from the bottom story line, and staying true with your real ones.

7-Back in blood...(Lil Durk)

This song is really good overall, this is one that i play once in a while just cause is a little old.

8-Freestyle...(Lil Baby)

This one is just pure vibes, the way he flows and is a freestyle too.

9-Cavalier...(Juice Wrld)

This song is a little different but, the flow and the bars go crazy, he went off in this song.

10-Wish...(Kodak Black)

Last song but, one that is also good it makes you think and see people for what they really are.

That concludes my ranking some people may have different opinions based on perspective but, based on my perspective these songs make a pretty good ranking.

7. Riquelme, the idol of many, they used to call him "invent, Roman, invent" because he was a genius with the ball at his feet.

Unfortunately due to the player base of this game it has turned more and more into Call of Duty rather than the Strategy FPS this game is meant to be.

I am writing this to talk about how the game has gone downhill since the release of the game 10 years ago. First problem I want to bring up is how they "reworked" the shield operators. For example Blackbeard used to have a shield on his weapon that was used to deflect headshots, and almost nobody played this operator. But since the Siege X update they completely changed his ability to have a shield that covers his torso and also be able to carry an automatic rifle behind it. You can probably start to see the problems with this because most shield operators in this game only carry a pistol behind the shield. Making this change has caused Blackbeard to become one of the most overpowered operators in this game right now. Another rework that they did with shields was that now when u get smacked with a shield you no longer take damage, but instead you get knocked to the floor. This change was actually a decent change because before this change, shield players would walk up to your face and then smack you and cause you to die.

Another problem I want to discuss is the TDM meta (team deathmatch meta), instead of playing the game strategically and using operators to clear out utility and play the game properly. People now choose operators that have their favorite gun for example R4C on Ash and Ram. Players will choose these operators and almost never use the abilities to help their team clear utility and will always go for every kill. Also players would only choose low recoil guns with ACOG and would always train mechanics instead of game sense. This is a problem because players would run into the building 15 seconds into the round without droning and die from a roamer, or if there is no roamer then they would run into site and kill everyone and then be toxic in game chat.

I want to discuss the cheater problem this game has.. Ubisoft have claimed to update their anti-cheat but this has been proven to be useless... Almost 3 hours after the anti-cheat update, cheaters got back on the game and started rage hacking in games. This is obviously ruining the game experience for legit players. Another cheating method is players Dossing ranked servers to essentially kick all the enemy players off the team and instantly win the game.

Overall this game has gone insanely downhill since the release in 2015 due to the factors stated above. Unfortunately these are not the only factors that have caused this game to go downhill. But I am not gonna sit here and explain every one to you. You are a new player and want to get into Siege? Quit now. If you are a returning player and want to get back into Siege? Quit now.

Su galería rebosaba de fotos como río desbordado: cafés con espuma perfecta, selfies con filtros, frases motivadoras copiadas de internet.

Vivía con su abuela Josefa, una mujer de voz dulce, cabello gris recogido en un moño, y manos suaves que olían a hierbabuena y a rubor de caracolas.

Cada tarde, Josefa esperaba a su nieta en la mecedora del patio, junto a una vieja radio que aún respiraba como un corazón de cobre olvidado.

Ponía discos de NINO BRAVO, MERCEDES SOSA o MARCO ANTONIO SOLÍS y, mientras el patio se llenaba de melodías antiguas, ella trataba de conversar con su pequeña hormiguita de tierra viva.

—Ven, Lucía… siéntate a mi lado, escuchemos juntos “Te quiero, te quiero.” —decía con los ojos brillantes.

Pero Lucía apenas la miraba, apenas cernía una seña de esas que se hacen cuando algo nos parece “aburrido”

—Ahora no, abuela. Estoy ocupada.

Y seguía retocando fotos, eligiendo filtros, revisando si alguien le había dado “me gusta”.

—Ay, mi niña. El tiempo no se detiene para nadie, aunque creamos que es infinito. —susurró la anciana.

Una tarde en que la luna pareció conversar con el sol, Lucía volvió de la calle y encontró el sillón vacío, la taza de café intacta y la radio apagada.

El aire olía a flores secas y a despedida, y en ese olor sintió cómo algo se rompía por dentro, como si el mundo hubiera cerrado una puerta sin hacer ruido.

La casa, que siempre respiraba, ahora era un animal muerto. Una luna rota, un río estancado, un vientre seco.

Ni un suspiro, ni un eco, ni un latido: solo el hueco feroz de un ausencia que parecía un cuchillo negro clavado en el pecho.

Lucía se sentó, temblorosa, mirando la radio que ahora solo devolvía un murmullo lejano de una bella melodía que buscaba un escape.

Con manos temblorosas abrió la galería de su celular: decenas de fotos de sí misma, paisajes lejanos, frases en inglés que ni entendía del todo. Pero ni una sola foto con su abuela. Ningún vídeo de sus risas, ni del suave canto de Josefa cuando tarareaba “COMO UNA OLA” o aquella otra canción que le gustaba: "IDILIO" Y menos, uno de su abuela cuando le preparaban el flan de calabaza que tanto le gustaba.

El eco de la memoria invadió la habitación, llenándola de ausencias, de momentos que ya no volverán, de cosas que le hubiese encantado preguntarle a su abuela, ¿cómo conoció a mi abuelo? ¿Cómo aprendió a bordar? —pensó mientras una lágrima corría por su mejilla.

Cuando encendió la radio, escuchó la última canción que su abuela había dejado: “UN BESO Y UNA FLOR”. Las palabras de Nino Bravo la hicieron llorar aún más:

—“Dejaré mi tierra por ti, dejaré mis campos y me iré…”

El patio se llenó de recuerdos. El viento sopló fuerte en las ventanas, y Lucía sintió que la pantalla del celular no podía devolverle nada de eso.

Con el corazón encogido, acaricié la radio, casi como si pudiera acariciar la memoria de mi abuela. Como si abrazara su recuerdo vagando en esta

Los Angeles, the worst city in the United States.

Los Angeles is a very diverse city and very prominent tourist attraction in the western world. LA is one of America's largest cities. And for good reason. LA was originally Mexican. After the Mexican American war around one third of Mexico's land area would be given to the United States.

Los Angeles is a very divided city despite its rapid diversity. To best describe it you would have to divide it into multiple regions. Dependent on what class dominates that area. Mainly be divided up into three different regions. Lower, Middle, and Higher Los Angeles.

The vast majority of LA residents are from Middle LA. Those traffic jam, people living minimum wage, not owning their homes, and overall, the side of LA really only mentioned in political discourse. The vast majority of LA citizens live here.

I had stayed with my family at LA, and my family is on the lower to middle class of the city. It was very tragic seeing their condition. They lived in what could be best described as two small shoe boxes. LA was very very tragic. As despite Middle LA being the majority, the second largest chunk is what I like to call Lower LA. Under every big bridge lies 50 to 70 homeless people. Every street has at least one homeless beggar who is hungry and without work. They crowd the city. Always 12 new homeless people you'll see in your trip every day. It is, unfortunately, the nature of this kind of this city. This is the part of the city no one talks about. But it is, probably, the most important side of it.

And the finally, Higher LA, what you think of when you of think of LA. Fancy cars, the beautiful view, expensive malls, top of the line luxury. It is a lie to say this is what most of LA is, but it definitely is true for the top 10% of residents. You will never be in those top 10%. I can promise you that. It is a lie to sell to tourist pretty much. And that is the best way to describe LA. No other city has the same number of problems as LA does. It is one of Americas most expensive cities with a horrifyingly large homeless population. It is, after all... disgusting. As someone who has been to LA, if it is not for family, go somewhere else. Miami, New York, Pheonix, Las Vegas. They are all so much better than here.

The movie follows a model who went through various procedures to look conventionally beautiful. Since she went through so many surgeries to achieve her appearance, she has to continue to maintain it frequently through more procedures and many pills. The pressure from societies ever growing hunger for something younger and beautiful eventually gets to her head leading her to insanity.

The movie presents a vicious cycle that can apply to the very real unrealistic beauty standards placed on women to this day that no matter how beautiful you are, someone younger and better will always replace you. I think that people can watch this movie and learn from it and hopefully make a change.

overall, the movie was very visually appealing, and the costume design is absolutely one of my favs. The storyline can be heavy and somewhat confusing at times however, it is a really good movie, and I definitely recommend it to any horror fans of all sorts :D

El frio dice que no es su culpa llorar tanto, sentir tanto, no es su culpa por ser tan frio y tan fragil como el hielo. El calor solo vendra, cuando dejes de llorar, el calor no aparecera magicamente, solo vendra cuando te libres de todo ese frio al parar de llorar solamente frio.

Pero porque me siento cansado soñando agotado contando y contando repetidamente, varias veces ovejas saltando una cerca, una tras otras y otra y otra, sin parar, sin saber de donde saldran, porque las sueños?

Nunca hubo una respuesta que me gustara escuchar, simplemente deje de preguntar, no queria saber, me deje de dar mala vida por ello, prefiero seguir con mis sueños. Sueños que siento que no estan siendo apoyados, esfuerzo que siento que es en vano, una pelea que siento que voy perdiendo hasta en mis propios sueños.

In other hand, Miami are progressing making soccer more seen. NOT more popular, but at least more seen on schools or teams since Latinos started immigrate on USA, but still soccer isn't popular. How do I know? Well, Curious won, and i start asking people what is they favorite sport and most of them (Latinos) choose soccer.

Most of the people that choose soccer are Cubans or Venezuelans, Soccer is more common or popular in both countries than others. But now on this days Miami progress a lot with soccer, building a whole field for soccers teams, so they can played for the World Cup, people are crazy for that World Cup even though, Latinos love soccer.

A film can remind you of different stages of your life (such as recalling the movies you watched as a child). Everyone has different tastes, and sometimes these can surprise us—whether it is the way someone thinks or acts, a specific scene, a simple plot twist in a movie, or the film preferences of our friends and acquaintances.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I went around asking many people within my social circle what their favorite movie was. Their responses surprised me; one of the most surprising answers came from a fairly close friend, whose favorite film turned out to be The Avengers. This caught me off guard because he doesn't strike me as the type of person who would typically enjoy that kind of movie.

One thing I really enjoyed about this exercise was that everyone named different films with different themes. This highlights the sheer diversity of movies that exist. Sometimes we assume we are all alike—thinking that everyone watches the same things, or simply because our own favorite movie happens to be a very common one—but nothing could be further from the truth. We are all unique; while we may indeed share favorite films in common, what truly sets us apart is the specific reason why we like them.
