During the Medieval Times education became very important to the people. Education was concentrated mostly in the monastery or Cathedral school. Learning in this time was taken very seriously most of the people who were being educated were very rich because the cost of education was very high. If you were a peasant or very poor you could only be educated if you were given permission from the Lord of the manor. Very few girls were educated most of them were just taught how to maintain a household and take care of their husband and children. Some girls with rich families were sent to universities to be educated but it was very rare.

The black death first started in Asia and spread through trade routes all over Europe. It spread through infected fleas that lived on rats. The fleas were the original cause of the black death but it was not transmitted through flea bites, it was an airborne disease that spread through coughs, sneezing, and even just plain breathing. There are 3 different kinds of the black death the first is the bubonic plague, the pneumonic plague, and the septicemic plague.

The growth of trade was very simple since there wasn't many factors to interupt trading things except wafare. There were many trade routes from Europe to parts of Asia. Some things that were traded were spices, fruit, and other things people may need. Finance was also very straightfoward as well. The medieval English saw their economy as comprising three groups – the clergy, who prayed; the knights, who fought; and the peasants, who worked the land.
