In my opinion and evidence from the story "No Trumpets Needed", the author is leading towards impartial because of various reasons. First, even though the author has been in the Palestinian side for the entire story and noticed the peacefulness the side has and the flowers and the children and Said and his kites, but in the story Said's mother told the author it isn't always that way such as the example his mother gave about Said's story; but if you walk up the hill where you can see Said working on his kites and the sheep, but If you look down the hill on the other side you can see the Israeli side where they have kids playing games and having fun. Secondly, as the author was setting up his camera for the last image of him leaving he got a glimpse of Said and his sheep getting startled from the the children and families from the bottom of the hill with Said's kites and they're all having fun and smiling. In conclusion, from the evidence in the story "No Trumpets Needed" the author is impartial and fair to both Palestines and Israelis.

in my opinion from reading the article and finding a section that said 'That day, a settler's car had been ambushed down in the valley. Three of them were killed." which is talking about the Israels and saying how the Palestinians had killed three of their peoples it is safe to say this caused for more violence and killings

In my opinion the Palestinians were losing their freedom to speak as in this piece of evidence that I found, "I sat down and offered him a drink out of my rucksack. He drank gratefully, eagerly, but said nothing. I patted my camera, told him who I was, shook his hand. I tried to communicate in English, then in the very few words of Arabic I had picked up. His smile was the only reply I got." It seems as if they aren't allowed to talk to foreigners, but they like the company of having someone their with them. Another piece of evidence I have is, "The shepherd boy was making a kite, so intent upon it that he had not notices my approach. He was whistling softly–not to make a tune, I felt, but simply to reassure his sheep." It seems as if he didn't want to be loud with his whistling because of Israel being next door to Palestine, and he was being quiet towards his sheep(of course). But to me this seems like Israel will attack Palestine if they are "too loud", basically breaking the "rules".

From article no trumpets needed, the Israelis fought back after the Palestinians had killed three of their men so they did a revenge killing or maybe it was just a stray bullet but that didn't matter because Saids brother Mahmoud who was Palestinian was dead and killed by Israelis

In my opinion, I think "No Trumpets Needed" was impartial because, never did the narrator of the story have anything bad to say about any of the sides. The narrator did notice that on the other side, when him and Said were on the top of a hill, that the the other kids were playing football, but a girl was there as well. Said waved to the kids, but only the girl waved back as they disappeared with Saids kite that he let go with the wording of, "Salaam. Shalom" along with a dove on the kite as well with a dove with the symbol as peace. Another reason why I think this is impartial is because when Saids uncle said, "Theres never enough water. The Israelis, settlers, call them what you will, they take all our best land, all our water, and leave us only the dust to farm with," The narrator didn't respond with anything.

in the article"no trumpets needed" I think it was impartial because the narrator shared stories from what he saw with the Israelis and Palestinian and didn't give bad feed back about either groups. when the narrator was taking his last picture he got Said and his sheep getting startled from the the children and families from the bottom of the hill with Said's kites, they all looked happy. also when saids uncle was telling the narrator that saids brother got killed by Israelis he didn't say nothing.
