         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hitler was elected because after ww1 Germany had gone into a hard time. he promised to fix these issues and bring Germany back to its right full glory.&nbsp;<br><br>One of Hitler's points was that  Jews were the cause of their problems. This was how he convinced many germans to believe in what he was saying. They thought that if they got rid of the jews then their problems would be solved This was the first step in the start of the holocaust.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>one of the reasons Germans didn't try to stop Hitler was either they believed in what he was saying or they to were afraid that they would get hurt if they stood up to the nazis.<br><br>with almost no support the jew could do very little to fight back. though some still started marches and resisted the nazis, it had little effect&nbsp;<br><br>Jews were the most targeted but there were also many other groups that it affected. homosexuals and disabled people were also large groups of people that were targeted and killed.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the holocaust lasted from 1941-to 1945.&nbsp;<br><br>During that time it is believed that over 11 million people were killed.&nbsp;<br><br>That includes many different groups of people such as poles, Serbs, and Romanis. one of the largest ways that people died were through gas chambers.&nbsp;<br><br>This is what made Auschwitz one of the most famous camps because it housed the most gas chambers.<br><br>there was constant humiliation and brutal punishment. Their day had a very strict schedule and would have to march to work &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
