I feel like I am myself when I am with them—my friends. They loved and embraced me for who I am; when I am with them, I never feel the need to conceal myself or be a perfect version of myself. Instead, being with them feels like home; I can be at ease or act impulsively, and they choose to love every version of who I was yesterday and who I am becoming in the future.

It represents me because reaching that moment demanded determination, resilience, and strength—qualities that continue to define who I am today. It reminds me that no matter how heavy the burden feels, I have the ability to rise above it. This picture is not only a memory of success but also a promise to myself that I can keep moving forward, no matter what life brings.

Now that I finally have mine, I see it’s more than just a dream or a hobby. It’s where I go when reality feels too heavy. But sometimes, I feel it came too late, because the very friends I once laughed with, the ones I shared coins and hours with, are now gone, offline from this virtual world.

In those quiet moments, it’s just me and the glow of the blue screen. It can’t bring back the past, but it gives me peace of mind. It’s not only about games anymore but rather its my escape from reality, and my comfort in solitude.

My family is the one thing I would trade my life for. They cared, fed, protected, and put a roof over my head. They taught me how to love, respect and forgive others. Most of all, my parents are the reason I revere and fear God, because they believe that no person is without sin but in the presence of God, you are forgiven. My kuya is the one I can call my best friend, my shoulder to lean on, my knight in shining armor. I wouldn't be able to enjoy life without him by my side. They taught me everything I needed and still need to know in life. They shaped who I am.

I chose this photo because it serves as my motivation a reminder that one day, by God’s grace, I will wear this toga again and officially become a registered nurse. This picture is very special to me because it represents the most valuable outfit I have ever worn not only in terms of money, but also in effort, sacrifices, and determination. It took my blood, sweat, and tears to earn the chance to wear this, and it will continue to inspire me to reach my dream.

This tattoo has a very deep meaning to me. It’s a spine tattoo a butterfly with words connected to it, running down along my spine. The words in my tattoo say, “Healing starts with forgiveness.”

It means that holding onto anger or resentment keeps the wound open but when you forgive, you give yourself the chance to heal, grow, and find peace. Forgiveness isn’t saying what happened was okay it’s choosing not to let it control you anymore. All those mga kasakit and kaguol that I’ve been through still, I choose to forgive and make myself even stronger. There is so much more to experience in this life, as long as the Lord continues His great plans for me.

And yes, my mama and papa are very supportive, and that’s one thing I am truly thankful for.
