Our expectation from this class is to have fun, make memories, and also learn about our syllabus for the year. We also expect to learn where we are engaged in the topic and are able to enjoy while also learning.

Q2 : Yes, because it is already endangering animals, and It is risking the extinction of humans in the near future as well.

Q3: No, due to power being the strings of action in our world, everything revolving under politics which is the key power to change in our world.

Q4: I feel that the issues can be solved, not only when the issue has been discussed at the UN meetings, or protests. The change, will come from within, the hearts of the people. There will be no difference, until the people themselves will change.

If we don’t fix it now we can’t fix it later, so it is an emergency. The rate of climate change since the last decade has worsened greatly. If we keep this trend going the earth will become inhabitable.

-Whose responsibility is it?
It’s all our problem. But the ones with power are the only ones that can make the bigger change.

-Is Greta Thunberg (a school girl) really capable of making a difference to the issue?

Logically, Greta, (despite her young age) was able to make a difference in the future due to her strong demeanour and wit. She (in 2024) has made a large impact with her speeches and moved a large amount of the younger audience with her to a place where they care about the environment. She is an example that helped a large generation by educating them about these issues.

No it is not by just purely giving speeches, but speeches do allow people to connect, understand and get educated on these topics.

Some major and significant climate change issues involve heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and global warming issues. These issues may not impact us as of now however they do majorly impact the environment and the ecosystem. Due to climate change there are more health risks, loss of animal species and more severe storms. The use of non renewable energy sources around the world also significantly impact the climate as well as the ecosystem and wild life.

2. Is the climate crisis really an emergency?

I think that this is a major issue that will impact us deplorably in the future. it may not seem vital as of now however it will progressively worsen as time passes. The earth's ecosystem and temperature has increased over time causing as plethora of plights and issues such as migration and extinction of species.

2. Whose responsibility is it?

In our opinion, it is the responsibility of every single human being living on the planet Earth, both the older and younger generation should work together in order to make a difference and solve this pivotal crisis.

Despite Greta being young she has still made a gargantuan difference on the planet. Her voice and decisions have spread awareness and allowed people to consider the significance of this issue. As we previously mentioned, age does not matter. The younger generation and older generation should work together.

4. Can the issues really be solved by making speeches at UN summits or protesting with placards?

Conducting speeches, UN summits and protesting with placards is definitely a start. However we would need to commence making an actual change. Spreading awareness is spectacular however we do need to make a change.
